BABYRAIDS JAPAN to disband

BABYRAIDS JAPAN (ベイビーレイズJAPAN)

BABYRAIDS JAPAN announced their disbandment. Their last live performance Zen Tora ga Naita! Densetsu no Saikou Kaminari Mai (Climax) (全虎が啼いた!伝説の最高雷舞(クライマックス)) will be held on September 24th at Yamanakako Communication Place Kirara.

The staff explained that there were several discussions about the future of BABYRAIDS JAPAN. They came to the conclusion that all members could not work in the same direction. Therefore the idol group decided to break up.

Candye♡Syrup – Graduation of all members and new auditions

Candye♡Syrup

Several announcements were made about the idol group Candye♡Syrup.

Current members have announced their future graduation from Candye♡Syrup.

No specific reason was given as to why members would graduate. However, another notice was published shortly announcing the beginning of the auditions of the second mount, for new girls. Women aged 16-28 are encouraged to apply, with auditions taking place from June 26 to July 8.

PASSPO☆ to break up

PASSPO☆ (ぱすぽ☆)

PASSPO☆ announced their disbandment.

The idol group hold a last live performance on September 22 at Nakano Sunplaza.

A statement on their official website explains that the members and the staff have been discussing about the future activities of PASSPO☆ since the end of last year. They reached the conclusion that they should follow their own path.

Cheeky Parade to break up

Cheeky Parade

Cheeky Parade announced that the idol group is going to disband on July 31.

7 members, including Yamamoto Marin and Suzuki Mariya left to study in Los Angeles, will participate in Cheeky Parade’s last live performance.

Each member commented the news on their official website. They said that they were sorry and sad that their activities are coming to an end soon. The girls thank the fans for their support. After their graduation, they want to walk towards their dreams.

Agarie Hikari to graduate from SAY-LA

Agarie Hikari (東江ひかり) - SAY-LAAs of December 1st, the “first old-school idol group in 3000 years” SAY-LA has been operating as a 6-girl unit with the addition of Yoshinaga Miina. During a joint live performance, SAY-LA & BABY TO KISS Emergency Show with Important Announcement, Agarie Hikari shared that she will be graduating on January 7, Sunday, at Shibuya WWW-X’s 3000-Nen ni Ichido no Happiness release event (single to be released on January 2nd), SAY-LA’s Agarie Hikari’s Graduation Solo Show.

SAY-LA has had some notable achievements leading up to Agarie Hikari’s graduation: Their 1st single, Kojirase Kataomoi was ranked #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart, their 1st live show DVD, Kojirase Kinnenbi was also ranked #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart and #2 on the Oricon Weekly Chart.

BiS – Return of Pour Lui and major debut

BiS (Brand-new Idol Society)BiS (Brand-new Idol Society) recently made two announcements!

On the one hand, the leader Pour Lui finally resumed her activities with the idol group on October 8. She had been on hiatus last September for failing a regular challenge of BiS and BiSH, DiET or DiE, whose goal was to lose weight.

On the other hand, during their one-man live titled IDOL is DEAD at BLITZ, the girls revealed that the new group mount will make its major debut on the Nippon Crown label, also known as Crown Records, a well-known label for managing other groups in the J-pop scene such as BAND-MAID, SKE48, les PASSPO☆, etc.

Kuroiwa Yui leaves STU48

Kuroiwa Yui (黒岩唯) - STU48Kuroiwa Yui announced her graduation from STU48.

This announcement was made on October 2 by herself and via STU48’s website.

Kuroiwa Yui chose to leave STU48 to devote herself to her studies. It is obviously difficult for her to work with the group and be in school at the same time.
