Kariyase Light joined Fudanjuku – Be Hero
The male-cosplay unit, Fudanjuku, is back and hard at work. Having just released their 4th album, Power of Wind, earlier this year; the “boys” have set the release date to their 13th single, Be Hero, for September 24, 2014.
The MV has been unvveiled.
Fudanjuku – Power of Wind
Fudanjuku‘s new album Power of Wind will be released on March 19.
Power of Wind contains 11 songs including Fudanjuku’s latest singles Jinsei Wahaha! (人生わははっ!), Shita wo Muite Kaerou (下を向いて帰ろう), Rikishi-Man, Dansou Revolution (男装レボリューション), and Chenmen Paradise (チェンメン天国).
Fudanjuku – Chenmen Tengoku
Fudanjuku’s new single Chenmen Tengoku (チェンメン天国) will be released on January 22.
3 versions are available. The limited editions come with a bonus DVD featuring either the PV or making-of footage.
The music video has been released.
Fudanjuku – Dansou Revolution
Fudanjuku’s new single Dansou Revolution (男装レボリューション) will be released on September 18.
This single celebrates the 5th anniversary of Fudanjuku.
The regular edition contains 3 songs and their instrumental versions.
The limited editions include only 2 tracks. They come with a bonus DVD featuring either the music video or its making-of.
Fudanjuku – Shita wo Muite Kaerou / Rikishi-Man
Fudanjuku’s new single Shita wo Muite Kaerou / Rikishi-Man (下を向いて帰ろう / Rikishi-Man) will be released on May 15. This is a double A-side single.
The regular edition includes a bonus track and instrumental versions.
The limited editions come with a DVD featuring either the music video or making-of footage.
Shita wo Muite Kaerou will be used as the ending theme for the TV show Tokui to Goto to Uruwashi no Shelly ga Konya Kurabete Mimashita (下を向いて帰ろう) broadcast on Nippon Television (NTV).
Rikishi-Man has been chosen as the Japan Sumo Association (日本相撲協会) official song.
Tokyo Idol Festival 2013
Tokyo Idol Festival 2013 will be held on July 27-28 at Odaiba.
It will be the 4th edition of Tokyo Idol Festival since its creation in 2010. Last year, 111 idol groups and 21500 fans participated in the event.
Idoling!!!, AeLL, Sakura Gakuin, The Possible, Tokyo Girls’ Style, Negicco, and Vanilla Beans have already announced that they will perfom in the festival.
On May 14, the participation of 46 new groups and soloists was announced.
On May 29, 23 other idol groups and soloists have been added to the line-up.
On June 5, 15 new artists announced their participation.
On June 12, 8 other idol groups have been added.
HKT48 and RYUTist were the last guests announced on July 5.
Moreover, the timetable of TIF2013 has been revealed.
Idol Fes in Boat Race Tamagawa Vol.7
Vanilla Beans, Fudanjuku, and Dorothy Little Happy will participate in Idol Fes in Boat Race Tamagawa Vol.7 (アイドルフェスin Boat Race Tamagawa Vol.7).
The concert will be held on March 31 at Tamagawa, Tokyo
Idol Live Starring Vol.2 & 3
Afilia Saga East, Oha Girl Chu! Chu! Chu!, GEM, Tokyo Cheer2 Party, Naaboudoufu@Nana, Party Rockets, Rhymeberry, YGA, Dream5, and Fudanjuku will perform at Idol Live Starring Vol.2 & 3 (アイドルLive Starring(アイスタ)Vol.2 & 3).
Both concerts will take place on February 17 at Shibuya-AX, Tokyo.
Fudanjuku – Jinsei Wahaha!
Fudanjuku’s 9th single Jinsei Wahaha! (人生わははっ！) will be released on January 9.
The regular edition contains 3 songs plus instrumental versions.
The limited editions include a bonus DVD featuring music video, making-of and live video depending the version.
Jinsei Wahaha! is the ending theme for the anime Ginga e Kickoff!! (銀河へキックオフ!!).
