AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta GassenThe 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen (第2回 AKB48紅白対抗歌合戦) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 27.

The DVD and the Blu-ray include bonus video footage, a 20-page booklet, and 3 photos.

The 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen was held on December 17 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.

146 members from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48, and SNH48 participated in the singing battle. Takahashi Minami was the captain of White Team, and Shinoda Mariko the captain of Red Team.

NMB48 Western Japan Tour 2013

NMB48NMB48 Concert Tour 2013 Spring titled NMB48 Western Japan Tour 2013 (NMB48西日本ツアー2013) will be held from March 4 to April 5.

The concerts will take place in Western Japan (Hiroshima, Okayama, Kanagawa, Tottori, Fukuoka, Kobe, Osaka, and Otsu).

NMB48′s 1st album Teppen Tottande! (てっぺんとったんで!) will be released on February 27.

AKB48 Fair

AKB48AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48 will hold a series of concerts titled AKB48 Fair (AKB48フェア).

The concerts will take place from April 25 to 28 at Nippon Budokan.

The announcement was made on the 3rd day of AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 100 2013 (AKB48 リクエストアワー セットリストベスト100 2013) held at Tokyo Dome City Hall.

NMB48 – Teppen Tottande!

NMB48 - Teppen TottandeNMB48’s 1st album Teppen Tottande! (てっぺんとったんで!) will be released on February 27.

The album includes all singles of NMB48 released until today.

Type N and Type M come with a bonus DVD featuring NMB48 Kinki Concert Tour ~Mina-san, Chapuchapu Shimasho~ (NMB48 近畿コンサートツアー~みなさん、ちゃぷちゃぷしましょ~) and NMB48 Team N Osaka Juuban Shoubu (NMB48 team-N 大阪十番勝負) held on August 21 and May 3, 2012.

Type B includes a bonus DVD featuring the full version of the song Ha! from AKB48’s single Eien Pressure.

Oricon Singles & Albums Charts 2012

OriconOricon (オリコン) published its yearly singles and albums charts 2012.

AKB48 are the best-selling singles artists. SKE48 also appear in the top 10. NMB48, Nogizaka46, Not Yet, Maeda Atsuko, Watanabe Mayu, Sashihara Rino, no3b (No Sleeves), Morning Musume, Momoiro Clover Z, French Kiss, Itano Tomomi, Super☆Girls, and SDN48 are in the top 100.

AKB48 came in 3rd position of best selling album chart, and SKE48 in 40th position.

Hikawa Ayame announced her graduation from NMB48

Hikawa AyameHikawa Ayame announced her graduation from NMB48. A graduation ceremony will be held on December 22.

She decided to leave the group due to a foot injury. She had stopped her activities on October 29 to follow a treatment, but she didn’t manage to recover completely.

Hikawa Ayame was a member of NMB48 Team M since January 2012.

AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta GassenThe teams for the 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen (第2回 AKB48紅白対抗歌合戦) have been announced.

Takahashi Minami will be the captain of White Team, and Shinoda Mariko the captain of Red Team.

Members from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48, and SNH48 will participate in the event.

AKB48 – Eien Pressure

AKB48 - Eien PressureAKB48’s 29th single Eien Pressure (永遠プレッシャー) will be released on December 5.

The title song is performed by the 16 members selected at the 2012 Janken Tournament. Shimazaki Haruka had won the center position.

Some B-side tracks are performed by SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, or OKL48 depending on the version.

Each single includes a bonus DVD featuring music videos and a documentary on the 29th Single Senbatsu Janken Tournament.

Watanabe Miyuki and Yamamoto Sayaka to release Photobooks

Watanabe Miyuki & Yamamoto Sayaka (NMB48)Watanabe Miyuki and Yamamoto Sayaka (NMB48) will release their first photobooks on November 20.

Watanabe Miyuki and Yamamoto Sayaka are both members of NMB48. Their photobooks being released on the same day, they will compete against each other. The winner will be announced on November 29 and will participate in a solo CM.

The photos of Watanabe Miyuki were taken in various places in Japan. Those of Yamamoto Sayaka were taken in Osaka and Okinawa.
