A sad news for the fans.
Vanilla Beans announced their disbandment in a few months.
No formal reason was given, but after celebrating the idol group’s 11th anniversary this year, it seems that the girls want to move on and continue their activities in other domains. There were several discussions between the girls and their staff about the future of Vanilla Beans.
Events will take place on October 6th and 7th.
A farewell concert will take place on next October 18 in Shinjuku and will be named T-Palette Records presents Vanilla Beans ni Kansha-sai ~Final Innoncence~ (T-Palette Records Presents バニラビーンズに感謝祭～Final Innocence～). Several groups of idols will make an appearance as: Up Up Girls kakko KARI, Callme, Tokyo Girls’ Style, Negicco and Lyrical School.
In addition, a new single will be released on September 18th on their former label T-Palette Records.
Vanilla Beans are an idol group formed in 2007 whose music genres are mainly shibuya-kei and j-pop mixed with an European music style. The girls were noted for their colorful and childish clothing style and the sweetness of their songs.
A recent tour of six dates took place between February and May 2018 for the group’s 10th anniversary.
We wish them good luck for their future projects.
