\"Negicco\"Negicco<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in July 2003.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 3 members : Nao\u2606, Megu and Kaede.<\/p>\n

The idol unit is based in Niigata Prefecture.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

Negicco were originally created for a promotional campaign for the onions from this area. The word “negi” (\u30cd\u30ae) means “onion” in Japanese.<\/p>\n

Their 1st single Koi Suru Negikko (\u604b\u3059\u308b\u306d\u304e\u3063\u5a18)<\/span> was released in 2003.<\/p>\n

Miku graduated in November 2006. She was replaced by Misaki in the following month.<\/p>\n

Misaki announced her graduation in April 2008.<\/p>\n

Their radio show started on FM Kento and Ustream in September 2008.<\/p>\n

Negicco won the Grand Prix at U.M.U Award 2010<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"Negicco\"They signed under T-Palette Records label in June 2011.<\/p>\n

The idol group collaborated with hy4_4yh<\/a> on the single Kanzen Kouryaku (\u5b8c\u5168\u653b\u7565)<\/span> released in March 2012.<\/p>\n

Negicco 10th Anniversary Party<\/a> Live was held in August 2013 at Shinjuku Blaze in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

In December 2013, the girls collaborated with swedish headphones brand Coloud to release a new item named NegicColoud<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"Negicco\"The members of Negicco went to Finland for the filming of the music video for the single Hikari no Spur<\/a> (\u5149\u306e\u30b7\u30e5\u30d7\u30fc\u30eb)<\/span> released in December 2014.<\/p>\n

The girls appeared in traditional Japanese kimonos in a TV commercial for\u00a0Sato Kagami Mochi’s Raku Poi Youki (\u3089\u304f\u30dd\u30a4\u5bb9\u5668) in December 2014.<\/p>\n

NegiBand was formed in the beginning of 2015. It consists of various musicians such as Onishi Yusuke (guitar), Kashima Tatsuya (bass), Mabanua (drums), Shindo Takatoshi (keyboard), Kobayashi Takegoro (keyboard), Nagata Kosei (sax, flute), Masago Yochi (trumpet, flugelhorn), Maeda Daisuke (trombone). They participate in some live performances.<\/p>\n

The DVD\u00a0Live & Life Negicco 2014-15 Winter<\/a><\/span> includes the video of the concert\u00a0Road of Negiiiiii \uff5eNegicco One Man Show\uff5e<\/span> which took place in January 2015 at Liquidroom, Tokyo. It contains also a documentary on the idol group.<\/p>\n

The 3 members tuned into tanuki (raccoon dog) in a CM for Sato no Gohan (\u30b5\u30c8\u30a6\u306e\u3054\u306f\u3093) rice in February 2015.<\/p>\n

Their 1st nationwide live tour Never Give Up Girls!!! & Rice & Snow<\/a><\/span> was held from February to May 2015.<\/p>\n

After the announcement of the creation of NGT48<\/a>, Takahashi Minami and Yokoyama Yui (AKB48) paid a courtesy visit to Negicco in March 2015 in Niigata.<\/p>\n

Nao\u2606, Megu and Kaede appeared in a TV commercial for Hatori hot springs (onsen) in March 2015. They performed the official song Hatori ni Tsuretette (\u8449\u6e21\u8389\u306b\u9023\u308c\u3066\u3063\u3066)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In addition to her activities as an idol, Kaede studies chemical engineering at Niigata University. She was appointed special researcher and representative of pharmaceutical college in April 2015.<\/p>\n

In May 2015,\u00a0Nao\u2606 threw the ceremonial first pitch before a baseball game at the Hard Off Eco Stadium in Niigata.<\/p>\n

\"Negicco\"Negicco participated in Culture City of East Asia<\/span> in Cheongju, South Korea, in May 2015. The girls have been appointed Niigata ambassadors for the cultural event.<\/p>\n

They took part as guests at Perfume Fes 2015 ~3-nin Matsuri~ (Perfume Fes!! 2015 \u301c\u4e09\u4eba\u796d\u301c)<\/span> at Nippon Budokan in September 2015.<\/p>\n

Kaede held a solo acoustic live in Tokyo in September 2015 to celebrate her birthday.<\/p>\n

\"Negicco\"A new version of the single Attouteki na Style\u00a0-NEGiBAND ver.- (\u5727\u5012\u7684\u306a\u30b9\u30bf\u30a4\u30eb)<\/span> was released in December 2015.<\/p>\n

Especia<\/a> members Tominaga Haruka, Mori Erika, Sannomiya Chika, Mise Chihiro, Wakita Monari, and Lyrical School<\/a>‘s Mei and Yumi made a guest appearance in the MV for the single\u00a0Mujun, Hajimemashita<\/a> (\u77db\u76fe\u3001\u306f\u3058\u3081\u307e\u3057\u305f\u3002)<\/span> on sale in March 2016.<\/p>\n

Negicco’s 3rd album\u00a0Tea for Three<\/a> (\u30c6\u30a3\u30fc\u30fb\u30d5\u30a9\u30fc\u30fb\u30b9\u30ea\u30fc)<\/span> was released in May 2016.<\/p>\n

The members of the idol group appeared in the MV for Junjou Ecstasy (\u7d14\u60c5\u30a8\u30af\u30b9\u30bf\u30b7\u30a3)<\/span> by Kikenbi Challenge Girls (\u5371\u967a\u65e5\u30c1\u30e3\u30ec\u30f3\u30b8\u30ac\u30fc\u30eb\u30ba\uff01) and DJ Yatsui Ichiro (DJ\u3084\u3064\u3044\u3044\u3061\u308d\u3046) in June 2016.<\/p>\n
