\"TokyoTokyo Girls’ Style<\/strong> (\u6771\u4eac\u5973\u5b50\u6d41, T\u014dky\u014d Joshi Ry\u016b) is a Japanese idol group formed in February 2010 by Avex.<\/p>\n

It consists of 5 members : Yamabe Miyu, Konishi Ayano, Arai Hitomi, Nakae Yuri, and Shoji Mei.<\/p>\n

The leader is Yamabe Miyu.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

Avex announced the creation of a new girls band in late 2009. The identity of the members was revealed in January 2010.<\/p>\n

Tokyo Girls’ Style held their 1st live performance in February 2010 at Shibuya O-Nest.<\/p>\n

They debut single Kirari\u2606 (\u30ad\u30e9\u30ea\u2606)<\/span> was released in May 2010.<\/p>\n

In August 2010, Tokyo Girls’ Style started broadcasting several episods of their show TGS UST.TV<\/span> on Ustream.<\/p>\n

In October 2010, the members performed as backup dancer during the live events of DJ Hello Kitty.<\/p>\n

Their fan club Astalight (\u30a2\u30b9\u30bf\u30e9\u30a4\u30c8) was created in January 2011.<\/p>\n

In June 2011, the idol unit gave live performances in Taiwan and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n

In 2012, Tokyo Girls’ Style members hosted a segment in the TV show Japan in Motion<\/span> broadcast on Nolife in France.<\/p>\n

In February 2012, Konishi Ayano broke her right foot and had to suspend her activities for a few weeks.<\/p>\n

In April 2012, the idol group appeared in a nationwide traffic safety campaign.<\/p>\n

\"TokyoTokyo Girls’ Style held their 1st live at Nippon Budokan in December 2012. The age of the members was unveiled during this event.<\/p>\n

Their program Tokyo Girls’ Style no Sure Sure TV (\u6771\u4eac\u5973\u5b50\u6d41\u306e\u30b9\u30ec\u30b9\u30ecTV)<\/span> started in January 2013 on BS Fuji (BS\u30d5\u30b8).<\/p>\n

\"TokyoIn March 2013, they participated in J Series Festival<\/span> in Thailand.<\/p>\n

In January 2014, the idol unit and the internet label Maltine Records launched a collaboration project titled Maltine Girls Wave<\/a> (\u30de\u30eb\u30c1\u30cd\u30ac\u30fc\u30eb\u30ba\u30a6\u30a7\u30fc\u30d6)<\/span>. Each member made a different CD with other artists.<\/p>\n

\"TokyoIn the same month, they participated in Kawaii Pop Fes by @Jam<\/span> in Taiwan along with other idol groups.<\/p>\n

They gave concerts with Up Up Girls (Kari)<\/a> in Spring 2014.<\/p>\n

Tokyo Girls Style were starring in the movie Count 5 to Dream of You<\/a> (5\u3064\u6570\u3048\u308c\u3070\u541b\u306e\u5922)<\/span> released in March 2014.<\/p>\n

\"TokyoThe members also played the leading roles in the horror movie Gakko no Kaidan -Noroi no Kotodama-<\/a> (\u5b66\u6821\u306e\u602a\u8ac7 -\u546a\u3044\u306e\u8a00\u970a-)<\/span> released in May 2014. They performed the original soundtrack on their 16th single Jujika<\/a> (\u5341\u5b57\u67b6)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

They participated in Kawaii Pop Fes<\/em> in Hong Kong in June 2014 along with other idol groups.<\/p>\n

\"TokyoTokyo Girls’ Style were the guests of honor of J-Pop Summit Festival<\/a><\/span> in San Francisco, USA, in July 2014.<\/p>\n

They had a collaboration with Kirimi-chan in August 2014. The girls dressed up costumes (salmon fillet, fish paste…) inspired by the Sanrio character.<\/p>\n

Arai Hitomi appeared on the MV for Come on Honey!<\/span> by tofubeats in August 2014. She sung on the track and she played the role of a karaoke singer on the music video.<\/p>\n

\"TokyoTokyo Girls’ Style held a live performance in Vietnam in September 2014 and will go to Thailand in October 2014.<\/p>\n

Konishi Ayano gave her first solo live Konishi no Ongaku-sai (\u5c0f\u897f\u306e\u97f3\u697d\u796d)<\/span> in October 2014 at Akihabara Cultures Theater.<\/p>\n

The single Say Long Goodbye<\/a><\/span> includes the English version of their hit song Himawari to Hoshikuzu<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"TokyoYamabe Miyu wrote the lyrics of the song Stay with Me<\/a><\/span> which is going to be released in March 2015.<\/p>\n

Tokyo Girls’ Style’s 1st best album Kirari (\u30ad\u30e9\u30ea\u2606)<\/span> will be on sale on the same day.<\/p>\n
