\"VanillaVanilla Beans<\/strong> (\u30d0\u30cb\u30e9\u30d3\u30fc\u30f3\u30ba) is a Japanese idol group formed in early 2007. They are also known as Vanibe (\u30d0\u30cb\u30d3).<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 2 members : Risa and Rena.<\/p>\n

The concept of the idol unit is that they are supposed to come from Northern Europe and more precisely from Denmark.<\/p>\n

They perform j-pop songs.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

In 2007, the 2 original members were Rena and Rika.<\/p>\n

Vanilla Beans released their debut single U \u2661 Me<\/span> in October 2007.<\/p>\n

Rika withdrew in March 2008. She was replaced by Risa.<\/p>\n

Vanilla Beans held their 1st live performance in December 2009 at Daikanyama Unit in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

The idol unit participated in Expo 2010 Shanghai<\/span> in China in September 2010. They were one of the artists representing Japan.<\/p>\n

They participated in the 8th Festival in Taiwan (\u7b2c8\u56de\u307e\u3064\u308a\u30a4\u30f3\u53f0\u6e7e)<\/span> in December 2010.<\/p>\n

\"VanillaVanilla Beans signed under Tower Records idol-specialized label T-Palette Records in June 2011.<\/p>\n

The idol group held a series of concerts to celebrate their 5th anniversary in 2012 and 2013. Various artists made an appearance as guests.<\/p>\n

The girls participated in Toulouse Game Show<\/span> in France in December 2012.<\/p>\n

Rena and Risa played in the movie \u8b90 \u301cAda\u301c<\/a><\/span> released in July 2013 along with other idol groups such as Up Up Girls (Kari)<\/a>, LinQ<\/a>, Caramel Ribbon and Lyrical School<\/a>..<\/p>\n

\"VanillaRena is a fan of Japanese idols. She hosts the show Can’t Stop Loving Idols!! (\u30a2\u30a4\u30c9\u30eb\u597d\u304d\u304c\u6b62\u307e\u3089\u306a\u3044!!)<\/span> broadcast on Kawaii Girl Japan website. She makes interviews and live reports on other groups.<\/p>\n

Vanilla Beans’ 11th single Kitto Ii Basho (Fuchi)<\/a> (\u304d\u3063\u3068\u3044\u3044\u5834\u6240\uff08\u30d5\u30c1\uff09)<\/span> is the official song for\u00a0Cup no Fuchico<\/span> (\u30b3\u30c3\u30d7\u306e\u30d5\u30c1\u5b50)<\/span>. In addition, they participated in a campaign titled No Music, No Fuchico?<\/span> in collaboration with Tower Records, T-Palette and Cup no Fuchico.<\/p>\n

Rena and Risa climbed to the top of Mount Fuji in the summer 2014. The video of the challenge is available on the single Uchouten Girl<\/a> (\u6709\u9802\u5929\u30ac\u30fc\u30eb)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"VanillaIn December 2014, Vanibe appeared in a commercial for Osaifu-Keitai<\/span><\/a>\u00a0(\u304a\u30b5\u30a4\u30d5\u30b1\u30fc\u30bf\u30a4). In the video, the girls promote the brand of\u00a0standard\u00a0<\/span>mobile payment\u00a0system by buying items in various shops<\/span>. The CM song is Uchouten Girl<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The girls co-host the TV show\u00a0Shino \u00d7 Vani<\/a> (\u30b7\u30ce\u00d7\u30d0\u30cb)<\/span> with actress and singer Shinohara Tomoe since April 2015.<\/p>\n

Vanilla Beans signed under avex trax<\/a> label in August 2015.<\/p>\n

\"VanillaIf less that 15000 copies of the single\u00a0Onna wa Sore wo Gaman Shinai \/ Be-nius \/ lonesome X<\/a> (\u5973\u306f\u305d\u308c\u3092\u6211\u6162\u3057\u306a\u3044 \/ \u30d3\u30fc\u30cb\u30a2\u30b9 \/ lonesome X)<\/span> were sold, the idol group would have to disband and stop its activities.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, they succeeded this challenge, and as a result the album Vanilla Beans V<\/a><\/span>\u00a0was released\u00a0in February 2016.<\/p>\n

Along with other artists, Risa and\u00a0Rena participated in the\u00a0Bra & Peace campaign to promote Wacoal’s Bragenic bra in February 2016.<\/p>\n
