\"DorothyDorothy Little Happy<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in July 2010.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 2 members.<\/p>\n

The leader is Shirato Kana.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The idol unit is based in Sendai in Miyagi prefecture.<\/p>\n

The name of the group refers to Dorothy from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"DorothyIn July 2010, the original members were Shirato Kana, Takahashi Mari, Suzuki Michiyo, Akimoto Ruuna and Tominaga Mimori. They were previously par of B\u266d (B Flat).<\/p>\n

Dorothy Little Happy released their debut single Jump! (\u30b8\u30e3\u30f3\u30d7\uff01)<\/span> in August 2010.<\/p>\n

Suzuki Michiyo graduated in November 2010 in order to focus on her studies. She was one of the 2 main vocalists along with Takahashi Mari.<\/p>\n

As a result, Hayasaka Koumi was selected among the backup dancers to join the idol group in November 2010.<\/p>\n

\"DorothyDorothy Little Happy held their 1st live performance Demo Sayonara (\u30c7\u30e2\u30b5\u30e8\u30ca\u30e9)<\/span> in January 2011 at Daikanyama Unit in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

The idol group announced its major debut in February 2011. The girls were transferred from BounDEE to Avex Trax.<\/p>\n

The release of their mini-album Demo Sayonara (\u30c7\u30e2\u30b5\u30e8\u30ca\u30e9)<\/span> was scheduled in March 2011. The promotional events were postponed due to the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. The members participated in various charity activities to bring their support to people in disaster areas.<\/p>\n

\"DorothyThe girls hosted the radio shows Dorothy Little Happy no Jump! (\u30c9\u30ed\u30b7\u30fc\u30ea\u30c8\u30eb\u30cf\u30c3\u30d4\u30fc\u306e\u30b8\u30e3\u30f3\u30d7\uff01)<\/span> on TBC Radio in 2011, and Happy Night<\/span> on FM Nack5 in 2012.<\/p>\n

Their TV variety show Dorothy no Little Happy Days! (\u30c9\u30ed\u30b7\u30fc\u306e\u30ea\u30c8\u30ebHappy Days!)<\/span> started airing on Pigoo HD in April 2012.<\/p>\n

Their photobook Mori no Miyako no Dorothy (\u675c\u306e\u90fd\u306e\u30c9\u30ed\u30b7\u30fc)<\/span> went on sale in December 2012.<\/p>\n

\"DorothyDorothy Little Happy participated in Kawaii Pop Fes<\/span> in Hong Kong in May 2013, in Taiwan in January 2014, and still in Hong Kong in June 2014. They held live performances on stage along with other idol groups.<\/p>\n

Takahashi Mari formed the duo Yufu\u266cMari<\/a> (\u30e6\u30d5\u266c\u30de\u30ea) with former BiS member Terashima Yufu. The idol unit is active for a limited period of time between May and August 2014 to promote @Jam<\/span> events. They are going to release the single Hotaru<\/span> in July 2014.<\/p>\n

In December 2014, Hayasaka Koumi missed some live performances due to influenza.<\/p>\n

\"Callme\"The sub-unit Callme<\/a> was created in early 2015. It consists of Mimori, Ruuna and Koumi.<\/p>\n

In April 2015, Takahashi Mari, Tominaga Mimori (Dorothy Little Happy),\u00a0Murakami Rana, Minamiguchi Nana (GEM<\/a>), Nagao Mami, Moriya Sakura (X21<\/a>) formed the special unit Magical Dreamin (\u30de\u30b8\u30ab\u30eb\u2606\u3069\u308a\u30fc\u307f\u3093) to perform the opening theme song for the anime Jewel Pet Magical Change (\u30b8\u30e5\u30a8\u30eb\u30da\u30c3\u30c8 \u30de\u30b8\u30ab\u30eb\u30c1\u30a7\u30f3\u30b8)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"Dorothy<\/p>\n

Akimoto Ruuna, Tominaga Mimori, Hayasaka Koumi announced their graduation<\/a> and pursued their activities until July 2015.<\/p>\n

The special idol group AnMiRan (\u664f\u7f8e\u862d) was created for @Jam Expo 2015<\/span>. It comprises Tominaga Mimori, Kobayashi Anyu (Tokyo Performance Doll) and Mizorogi Seran (Cheeky Parade<\/a>). It will be active for a limited period of time from May to August 2015.<\/p>\n

\"DorothyDorothy Little Happy were transferred to Universal Gear label in October 2015.<\/p>\n

As its title suggests, the single Restart<\/a><\/span>, on sale in December 2015, marked a new step for the idol group.<\/p>\n

The girls will participate in the Honolulu Half-Marathon 2016 (\u30db\u30ce\u30eb\u30eb\u30cf\u30fc\u30d5\u30de\u30e9\u30bd\u30f3\u30fb\u30cf\u30d1\u30eb\u30a2)<\/span> in Hawaii in April.<\/p>\n

The single Bicolor no Koigokoro<\/a> (\u30d0\u30a4\u30ab\u30e9\u30fc\u306e\u604b\u5fc3)<\/span> is going to be released in May 2016.<\/p>\n
