{"id":13951,"date":"2013-07-08T19:20:48","date_gmt":"2013-07-08T17:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/?page_id=13951"},"modified":"2015-07-14T14:02:43","modified_gmt":"2015-07-14T12:02:43","slug":"niimo","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/niimo\/","title":{"rendered":"Niimo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28233\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2015\/02\/niimo-idol.jpg\" alt=\"Niimo\" width=\"150\" height=\"121\" \/><strong>Niimo<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>It currently consists of 7 members.<\/p>\n<p>The unit is based in Oita in the prefecture of the same name on the island of Kyushu.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Niimo an acronym for &#8220;New Impact In My Oita&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28231\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2013\/07\/niimo-logo.gif\" alt=\"Niimo\" width=\"150\" height=\"100\" \/>It is a sister group of <a title=\"Chimo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/chimo\/\">Chimo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n<p>Niimo was formed in September 2012.<\/p>\n<p>Tomoka and Saaya were transferred from Chimo.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-13960\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2013\/07\/niimo.jpg\" alt=\"Niimo (\u30cb\u30fc\u30e2)\" width=\"150\" height=\"77\" \/>Aika withdrew in February 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Niimo released their debut single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/niimo-let-s-fly-away\/\">Let&#8217;s Fly Away<\/a><\/span> in April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Mayu acted in the movie <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Sea of Love ~Itoshima ni Miserarete~ (Sea of Love\uff5e\u3044\u3068\u3057\u307e\u306b\u9b45\u305b\u3089\u308c\u3066\uff5e)<\/span> in late 2013.<\/p>\n<p>Mayu also appeared in a TV commercial for Kyushu Ramen (\u4e5d\u5dde\u30e9\u30fc\u30e1\u30f3\u548c).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-24580\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2014\/07\/niimo-idol.jpg\" alt=\"Niimo\" width=\"150\" height=\"77\" \/>Nana quit in December 2013 in order to focus on her studies.<\/p>\n<p>Niimo&#8217;s 4th single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/niimo-zenryoku-koi-moyou\/\">Zenryoku Koi Moyou<\/a> (\u5168\u529b\u604b\u30e2\u30e8\u30a6)<\/span> was the first one to be on sale nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>Tomoka and Mayu graduated in September 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Niimo&#8217;s 5th single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/niimo-renai-vibration\/\">Renai Vibration<\/a><\/span> (\u604b\u611b\u30d0\u30a4\u30d6\u30ec\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3) was released in March 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Chiho and Honoka announced their graduation in April 2015. Chiho tooki this decision after a hiatus discussions with her family. Honoka had to stop her activities due poor physical health.<\/p>\n<p>Neo withdrew at the same period.
