It currently consists of 5 members.<\/p>\n

The leader is Denya Erika.<\/p>\n

The center is Hayashi Manatsu.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"BabyraidsThe name of the idol unit comes from the words “baby”, to show their cute side, and “raids”, to indicate a surprise attack.<\/p>\n

Babyraids are in the same agency as Kikuchi Ami from Idoling!!!<\/a>. She was involved in in the creation of the unit and participates in some events with the members.<\/p>\n

Takami Nao and Ooya Rikako failed to be selected in the 5th generation audition for Idoling!!! in the beginning of 2012.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsBabyraids perform weekly the event Toranomon Dojo (\u864e\u30ce\u9580\u9053\u5834)<\/span> at Pony Canyon headquarters.<\/p>\n

Ooya Rikako and Takami Nao host the radio show Ooya Takami no Babyraids Radio (\u5927\u77e2\u30fb\u9ad8\u898b\u306e\u30d9\u30a4\u30d3\u30fc\u30ec\u30a4\u30ba\u30e9\u30b8\u30aa)<\/span> broadcast on Radio Nippon (\u30e9\u30b8\u30aa\u65e5\u672c) since March 2013.<\/p>\n

The concert Babyraids Densetsu no Live ~Mouko Shuurai~<\/a> (\u30d9\u30a4\u30d3\u30fc\u30ec\u30a4\u30ba\u4f1d\u8aac\u306e\u96f7\u821e! \uff5e\u731b\u864e\u8972\u6765\uff5e)<\/span> took place in December 2013 at Shinkiba Studio Coast. Some other artists participated in the event as guests.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsIn early 2014, the staff announced that if Babyraids could not hold a live performance within 2 years since their debut, then the idol group will disband.<\/p>\n

The members of Babyraids played in a TV commercial (CM) for the blended tea drink Asahi 16cha (\u30a2\u30b5\u30d2 \u5341\u516d\u8336)<\/span> in February 2014.<\/p>\n

Denya Erika’s 1st photobook Denchan (\u3067\u3093\u3061\u3083\u3093)<\/span> was published in June 2014.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsTheir 1st album Jiko Shoukai<\/a> (\u81ea\u864e\u7d39\u4ecb)<\/span> was released in July 2014.<\/p>\n

Babyraids faced the challenge to collect 10,000 signatures during Summer 2014 to get their first concert at Nippon Budokan. The girls succeeded with 13,872 signatures. If they had failed, the unit would have disbanded.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsIn October 2014, Hayashi Manatsu appeared in the MV for Ano Hi no Bokura (\u3042\u306e\u65e5\u306e\u50d5\u7b49)<\/span> by Matsuyama Chiharu. She played the role of a student trying to learn how to dance and crying.<\/p>\n

Their variety show Babyraids tte Dare Da yo!? (\u30d9\u30d3\u30ec\u3063\u3066\u8ab0\u3060\u3088!?)<\/span> was broadcast on TV Tokyo in early December 2014. It has 5 episodes.<\/p>\n

The idol group held its first live performance at Nippon Budokan in December 2014. The concert was titled Babyraids Densetsu no Kaminari Mai! -Tora Tora Ichiban- (\u30d9\u30a4\u30d3\u30fc\u30ec\u30a4\u30ba\u4f1d\u8aac\u306e\u96f7\u821e\uff01-\u864e\u864e\u58f1\u756a-)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The unit changed its name to Babyraids Japan in early 2015.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsThe girls appeared with a new look for their 9th single Eikou Sunrise (\u6804\u5149\u30b5\u30f3\u30e9\u30a4\u30ba)<\/span> in April 2015. Hayashi Manatsu dyed her hair blonde.<\/p>\n

They held a series of concerts entitled Idorock<\/span> in the summer and the autumn 2015.<\/p>\n

Their 10th single Pretty Little Baby<\/a><\/span>, on sale in August 2015, is a cover of the 1962 song by American singer Connie Francis. The members were wearing retro black and white outfits with motifs<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsIn November 2015, Hayashi Manatsu appeared in an episode of the drama\u00a0Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku (\u639f\u4e0a\u4eca\u65e5\u5b50\u306e\u5099\u5fd8\u9332)<\/span> broadcast on NTV.<\/p>\n

In early January 2016, the members of Babyraids Japan went to a shinto shrine in Shinjuku in order to pray for the success of their 11th single\u00a0Hashire, Hashire<\/a> (\u8d70\u308c\u3001\u8d70\u308c)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The title song for their 12th single Senkou Believer<\/a><\/span> (\u9583\u5149Believer), on sale in May 2016, is used in a commercial for\u00a0Super Sports Xebio (\u30b9\u30fc\u30d1\u30fc\u30b9\u30dd\u30fc\u30c4\u30bc\u30d3\u30aa)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsBabyraids Japan Live Tour 2016\u3000-Road to Emotional Idorock Fes.-<\/span> was held from April to May 2016.<\/p>\n

The idol group participated in Japan Expo 2016<\/span> in Paris Nord Villepinte, France, in July.<\/p>\n

Takami Nao, Waki Akari (Tokyo Performance Doll<\/a>) and\u00a0Yoshiki Haruka (Party Rockets GT<\/a>) formed the unit NAH. They released the single Jounetsu no Kaze (\u60c5\u71b1\u306e\u98a8)<\/span> in August 2016.<\/p>\n

\"BabyraidsHayashi Manatsu threw the ceremonial first pitch before the 2016 Japan Cup International Women Softball Tournament<\/span> game Japan vs USA in Takasaki in August.<\/p>\n

Their 2nd album Nippon Chu! Chu! Chu! (\u30cb\u30c3\u30dd\u30f3Chu!Chu!Chu!)<\/span> was released in September 2016. It includes the song Cinderella Ja Iranai (\u30b7\u30f3\u30c7\u30ec\u30e9\u3058\u3083\u3044\u3089\u308c\u306a\u3044)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In March 2017, Denya Erika appeared on a TV commercial for Rakuten Point Card.<\/p>\n

The members of Babyraids Japan and 9nine<\/a> participate in the TV variety show Asakusa Baby 9 (\u6d45\u8349\u30d9\u30d3\uff19)<\/span> which started airing on TV Tokyo in April 2017.<\/p>\n

The single Baki Baki<\/a> (\u30d0\u30ad\u30d0\u30ad)<\/span> went on sale in May 2017. In the music video, the members of the idol group want to give us an important message about smartphone screens.<\/p>\n
