\"E-Girls\"E-Girls<\/strong> is a Japanese dance and vocal girl group formed in 2011 and produced by LDH.<\/p>\n

The leader is Aya.<\/p>\n

The name of the group stands for Exile Girls Unit.<\/p>\n

E-Girls consist of members from Dream<\/a>, Happiness<\/a>, Flower<\/a>, Bunny, and other artists.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"The event E-Girls Show<\/span> started in April 2011.<\/p>\n

E-Girls released their debut single Celebration!<\/span> in December 2011.<\/p>\n

Their 3rd single Follow Me<\/a><\/span> ranked 3rd on Oricon Weekly Chart in October 2012.<\/p>\n

Their 4th single The Never Ending Story<\/a><\/span> was the theme song for the drama Biblia Koshodou no Jiken Techou (\u30d3\u30d6\u30ea\u30a2\u53e4\u66f8\u5802\u306e\u4e8b\u4ef6\u624b\u5e16 )<\/span> broadcast on Fuji TV.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"Their album Lesson 1<\/a><\/span> ranked 1st on Oricon Weekly Chart in April 2013, and stayed 4 consecutive weeks in the top 5.<\/p>\n

In December 2013, E-Girls participated in the 64th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen (\u7b2c64NHK\u7d05\u767d\u6b4c\u5408\u6226)<\/span>. It is a popular annual music show broadcast on New Year’s Eve.<\/p>\n

In January 2014, Aya (Dream) was named\u00a0leader by Hiro (Exile).<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"Fujii Shuuka, Takeda Kyoka, Ishii Anna, Dobayashi Kaede, Fujii Karen, Suda Anna, Yamaguchi Nonoka, Sato Harumi, Bando Nozomi and Shizuka were starring in the drama Koibumi Biyori (\u604b\u6587\u65e5\u548c)<\/span> broadcast on NTV between January and March 2014. It was their first experience as actresses.<\/p>\n

Sugieda Mayu<\/a> and Takeda Kyoka<\/a> withdrew in April 2014.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"E-Girls performed the opening theme song Odoru Pompokolin<\/a> (\u304a\u3069\u308b\u30dd\u30f3\u30dd\u30b3\u30ea\u30f3)<\/span> for the anime Chibi Maruko Chan (\u3061\u3073\u307e\u308b\u5b50\u3061\u3083\u3093)<\/span> in April 2014. Ami, Fujii Karen, Washio Reina and Takebe Yuzuna unveiled a lecture video to learn the choreography of the Pihyara Dance (\u30d4\u30fc\u30d2\u30e3\u30e9\u30c0\u30f3\u30b9)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

E-Girls participated in the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2014 (VMAJ)<\/span> on MTV Asia in June 2014. They won the Best Choreography Award for Gomennasai no Kissing You<\/a> (\u3054\u3081\u3093\u306a\u3055\u3044\u306eKissing You)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0members\u00a0appeared in a commercial for NTT Docomo in July 2014. The CM song was their single E.G. Anthem -We Are Venus-<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

The group held its 1st live tour Colorful Land<\/span> in July and August 2014.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"The single\u00a0Highschool Love<\/a><\/span> is the theme song for the drama GTO<\/span> broadcast on Fuji TV. It is also the CM song for the TV commercial Samantha Vega meets E-Girls<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Muto Chiharu<\/a> withdrew in October 2014 to study abroad.<\/p>\n

The single Mr. Snowman<\/a><\/span>, on sale in November 2014, is the CM song for e-ma candy by UHA. The members of E-Girls appear in the TV commercial.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"Ishii Anna and Yamaguchi Nonoka appeared in a commercial for Rikunabi Shingaku (\u30ea\u30af\u30ca\u30d3\u9032\u5b66) in March 2015.<\/p>\n

The single Anniversary!!<\/a><\/span>, on sale in May 2015, was the CM song for Prince Hotels’ summer campaign Natsu Pri (\u590f\u30d7\u30ea).<\/p>\n

The variety show E-Girls wo Majime ni Kangaeru Kaigi (E-girls\u3092\u771f\u9762\u76ee\u306b\u8003\u3048\u308b\u4f1a\u8b70)<\/span> aired on TV Tokyo from April to June 2015.<\/p>\n

\"AmiAmi debuted as a seiyuu (\u58f0\u512a ; voice actress) for the 25th anniversary of the anime Chibi Maruko-chan<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In July 2015, she threw the ceremonial first pitch at a baseball game of the Saitama Seibu Lions at the Seibu Dome.<\/p>\n

Under the name of Dream Ami, she made her solo debut with the single Dress wo Nuida Cinderella (\u30c9\u30ec\u30b9\u3092\u8131\u3044\u3060\u30b7\u30f3\u30c7\u30ec\u30e9)<\/span>\u00a0in July 2015.<\/p>\n

Ishii Anna was starring in the movie Solomon’s Perjury (\u30bd\u30ed\u30e2\u30f3\u306e\u507d\u8a3c ; Solomon no Gijou)<\/span> released in September 2015. She won the Blue Ribbon Award for Best Newcomer.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"The single Dance Dance Dance<\/a><\/span>, on sale in September 2015, was the tie-up song for the event Kingdom of Flowers & Lights (\u82b1\u3068\u5149\u306e\u738b\u56fd)<\/span><\/span> at Huis Ten Bosch theme park.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ichiki Kyoka<\/a> announced her graduation from E-Girls and Flower in October 2015.<\/p>\n

Washio Reina debuted as a voice actress in the anime Kindaichi Case Files R (Returns) (\u91d1\u7530\u4e00\u5c11\u5e74\u306e\u4e8b\u4ef6\u7c3fR)<\/span> in December 2015.<\/p>\n

\"E-Girls\"The single Merry \u00d7 Merry Xmas\u2605<\/a><\/span>, released in December 2015, is the first Christmas song by E-Girls.<\/p>\n

Sisters Fujii Shuuka and Karen participated in a commercial for Fasio (\u30d5\u30a1\u30b7\u30aa) makeup cosmetics in January 2016.<\/p>\n

E-Girls collaborated with Jankara (\u30b8\u30e3\u30f3\u30ab\u30e9) karaoke chain in February 2016.<\/p>\n

The greatest hits\u00a0album E.G. Smile -E-Girls Best-<\/a><\/span>\u00a0was released in February\u00a02016.<\/p>\n

Sato Harumi, Kaede and Fujii sisters appeared in a commercial for Samantha Vega\u00a0in February 2016. E-Girls’ song Dance with Me Now!<\/span>\u00a0was used in the CM.<\/p>\n

Fujii Karen, Suda Anna, Fujii Shuuka, Bando Nozomi and Sato Harumi participated in a campaign for Beats by Dr. Dre headphones in March 2016.<\/p>\n

Ami dubbed the voice of Gazelle in Disney’s Zootopia (\u30ba\u30fc\u30c8\u30d4\u30a2)<\/span>. She has also performed the Japanese version of the theme song Try Everything (\u30c8\u30e9\u30a4\u30fb\u30a8\u30f4\u30ea\u30b7\u30f3\u30b0)<\/span>.\u00a0Shakira got this role in the US version. The animation movie is going to be released in theaters in April 2016 in Japan.<\/p>\n

Ami co-hosts the show Good Time Music<\/span> on TBS since April 2016.<\/p>\n
