They had won the <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Avex Dream 2000<\/span> audition grand prix.<\/p>\n<p>Dream&#8217;s debut single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Movin&#8217; On<\/span> was released on January 1, 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Matsumuro Mai announced her graduation during the concert tour <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Dream Live 2002 Process<\/span> in July 2002.<\/p>\n<p>As a result, Ai Risa, Abe Erie, Takamoto Aya, Nakajima Ami, Nishida Shizuka and Yamamoto Sayaka were recruited as new members.<\/p>\n<p>Ai Risa graduated in March 2004.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2005, the girls formed Team Dream to play futsal.<\/p>\n<p>The J-Pop group changed its name to DRM in April 2007.<\/p>\n<p>In July 2008, their activities were suspended, and they were transferred to LDH.<\/p>\n<p>At the same period, Hasebe Yu withdrew in order to pursue her career as an actress.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2009, Dream restarted activities with the single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Perfect Girls \/ To the Top<\/span> released under an indies label.<\/p>\n<p>It was a successful comeback, and Dream&#8217;s major debut single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">My Way ~Ulala~<\/span> went on sale in August 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Kana left the group in February 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Dream joined E-Girls in February 2011. Aya became the leader of the collective girl group.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-10839\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2013\/04\/dream.jpg\" alt=\"Dream\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>Sayaka withdrew in March 2012.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2013, the single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/dream-only-you\/\">Only You<\/a><\/span> was used in the TV\u00a0commercial <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Samantha \u00d7 Kawaii \u00d7 Art<\/span> by\u00a0the fashion brand Samantha Thavasa (\u30b5\u30de\u30f3\u30b5\u30bf\u30d0\u30b5).<\/p>\n<p>In January 2014, Aya was named leader of E-Girls by Hiro (Exile).<\/p>\n<p>Shizuka was starring in the drama <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Koibumi Biyori (\u604b\u6587\u65e5\u548c)<\/span> broadcast on NTV between January and March 2014. It was their first experience as an actress.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-25928\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2014\/10\/dream-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Dream\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>The theme of the single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/dream-darling\/\">Darling<\/a> (\u30c0\u30fc\u30ea\u30f3)<\/span>, released in November 2014, is the marriage.<\/p>\n<p>Dream&#8217;s single\u00a0<span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/dream-konna-ni-mo\/\">Konna ni mo<\/a> (\u3053\u3093\u306a\u306b\u3082)<\/span>, on sale in February 2015, is a St Valentine&#8217;s Day story.<\/p>\n<p>Ami debuted as a seiyuu (\u58f0\u512a ; voice actress) for the 25th anniversary of the anime <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Chibi Maruko-chan<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-29465\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2015\/04\/ami-egirls-dream-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Ami (E-Girls, Dream)\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>In July 2015, she threw the ceremonial first pitch and a baseball game of the Saitama Seibu Lions at the Seibu Dome.<\/p>\n<p>Under the name of Dream Ami, she made her solo debut with the single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Dress wo Nuida Cinderella (\u30c9\u30ec\u30b9\u3092\u8131\u3044\u3060\u30b7\u30f3\u30c7\u30ec\u30e9)<\/span>\u00a0in July 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The girls participated in a commercial for Mocomoco Jeans in November 2015. The single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Blanket Snow (\u30d6\u30e9\u30f3\u30b1\u30c3\u30c8\u30fb\u30b9\u30ce\u30a6)<\/span> was used as the CM song.<\/p>\n<p>Ami dubbed the voice of Gazelle in Disney&#8217;s <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Zootopia (\u30ba\u30fc\u30c8\u30d4\u30a2)<\/span>. She has also performed the Japanese version of the theme song <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Try Everything (\u30c8\u30e9\u30a4\u30fb\u30a8\u30f4\u30ea\u30b7\u30f3\u30b0)<\/span>.\u00a0Shakira got this role in the US version.
