\"CupitronCupitron<\/strong> (\u30ad\u30e5\u30d4\u30c8\u30ed\u30f3) is a Japanese idol group formed in 2014.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 3 members. Each one has been assigned a color.<\/p>\n

The name Cupitron comes from the words “cupid” like an angel, and “tron” in reference to computer architecture.<\/p>\n

The idol unit performs techno pop songs.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"CupitronCupitron are produced by Tobeta Bajune who has already worked with units such as Techpri<\/a> (\u30c6\u30af\u30d7\u30ea, tc princess) and Tsuri Bit<\/a>\u00a0(\u3064\u308a\u30d3\u30c3\u30c8).<\/p>\n

Hamada Saika is a former member of Jumpin’. She is the center.<\/p>\n

A trailer<\/a> was unveiled in May 2014.<\/p>\n

Their debut digitial single Summer Kaijuu (\u30b5\u30de\u30fc\u30ab\u30a4\u30b8\u30e5\u30a6)<\/span> was released in June 2014.<\/p>\n

\"Cupitron\"Cupitron held their 1st live performance First Contact<\/span> in late June 2014 at Shibuya Rex, Tokyo.<\/p>\n

The idol group released its 1st CD single Unicorn Parade<\/a> (\u30e6\u30cb\u30b3\u30fc\u30f3\u30d1\u30ec\u30fc\u30c9)<\/span> in September 2014.<\/p>\n

Cupitron hold a monthly live series titled Galaxy Party<\/span> since January 2015.<\/p>\n

\"CupitronThe costumes of their 2nd single\u00a0Battery<\/a> (\u30d0\u30c3\u30c6\u30ea\u30fc)<\/span>, released in February 2015, were created by fashion designer, actress and singer Shinohara Tomoe.<\/p>\n

In July 2015, each member was wearing a costume illuminated by 200 LED lights and featuring 16.77 lighting combinations in the MV for Robot Boy Robot Girl<\/a> (\u30ed\u30dc\u30c3\u30c8\u30dc\u30fc\u30a4 \u30ed\u30dc\u30c3\u30c8\u30ac\u30fc\u30eb)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

The girls participate regularly in the TV show NHK Koukou Kouza “Basic Science” (NHK\u9ad8\u6821\u8b1b\u5ea7\u300e\u30d9\u30fc\u30b7\u30c3\u30af\u30b5\u30a4\u30a8\u30f3\u30b9\u300f)<\/span> since April 2016.<\/p>\n

Cupitron’s 4th single Galaxy Express 999<\/a> (\u9280\u6cb3\u9244\u9053999)<\/span>, on sale in May 2016, is a cover of the theme song of the famous manga and anime by Matsumoto Leiji. The manga artist has also designed the costumes of the members of the idol group.<\/p>\n
