\"drop\"drop<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in 2014.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 5 members. Each one has been assigned a color and a natural element.<\/p>\n

It is a sister group of Maneki Kecak<\/a> (\u307e\u306d\u304d\u30b1\u30c1\u30e3).<\/p>\n

The leader is Misaki Sato.<\/p>\n

The idol unit is based in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

Misaki Misato is an anime otaku and an illustrator. Some of her drawings have been commercialized. She is also a fashion model.<\/p>\n

\"drop\"Sugino Shizuka studied piano at a music school. She experienced voice acting.<\/p>\n

Takiguchi Hikari is a popular gravure idol. She was featured in Weekly Playboy magazine in 2014. She is regularly in the top ranking on the Cheerz mobile app for smartphones.<\/p>\n

Ooba Haruka is a former junior gravure idol. She is also an actress. She appeared in several dramas, movies and stage plays.<\/p>\n

\"drop\"drop was formed by TwinTail Association Japan.<\/p>\n

They promote pigtail hairstyles which are popular in Japan and beautiful girls.<\/p>\n

The 3 original members were Misaki Misato, Sugimo Shizuka and Takiguchi Hikari.<\/p>\n

They held their 1st live performance in July 2014.<\/p>\n

\"drop\"Ooba Haruka joined the group in late August 2014.<\/p>\n

drop released their 1st single\u00a0Nanimo Iranai \/ Iro wa Nihoheto de Vampire<\/a> (\u306a\u3093\u3044\u3082\u3044\u3089\u306a\u3044 \/ \u3044\u308d\u306f\u306b\u307b\u3078\u3068de\u30f4\u30a1\u30f3\u30d1\u30a4\u30a2)<\/span> in December 2014.<\/p>\n

The idol group’s 1st mini-album Nounai drop (\u8133\u5185drop)<\/span> went on sale in July 2015. It includes 6 songs.<\/p>\n

\"drop\"Shizuka Sugino announced her graduation in August 2015.<\/p>\n

The singles Whatcha Gonna Do \/ Aresaretaino\u00a0 (\u308f\u3061\u3083\u3054\u306a\u3069\u3045\u30fb\u30a2\u30ec\u30b5\u30ec\u30bf\u30a4\u30ce)<\/span> and Hashire \/ Poker Face (\u8d70\u308c \/ \u30dd\u30fc\u30ab\u30fc\u30d5\u30a7\u30a4\u30b9)<\/span> were successively released in October and in November 2015.<\/p>\n

drop participated in IDOLidge Carnival<\/span> in Taipei, Taiwan, in December 2015.<\/p>\n

In January 2016, Takiguchi Hikari appeared in the MV for the quiet room’s song Instant Girl<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"drop\"Koizumi\u00a0Runa and Kohinata\u00a0Mai joined drop as new members in May 2016.<\/p>\n

In June 2016, Takiguchi Hikari launched a crowdfunding campaign to produce her 1st photobook.<\/p>\n

The idol group made its major debut<\/a> with the single Hoshi no Nai Yoru Dakara \/ Kaetteoide (\u661f\u306e\u306a\u3044\u591c\u3060\u304b\u3089 \/ \u5e30\u3063\u3066\u304a\u3044\u3067)<\/span> released in August 2016 under the label Force Music.<\/p>\n

Takiguchi Hikari’s 1st photobook tackey, lucky ducky!<\/span> was published in November 2016. It features sexy pictures of her in swimsuit.<\/p>\n

The nationwide live tour Shinshoku drop (\u4fb5\u98dfdrop)<\/span> is going to be held between June and July 2017. The concerts will take place in 6 cities across Japan.<\/p>\n
