\"LinQ\"LinQ<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in April 2011.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 30\u00a0members.<\/p>\n

They are split into 2 teams : Lady and Qty.<\/p>\n

The idol unit is from Fukuoka on the island of Kyushu.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"LinQ\"<\/p>\n

The name LinQ comes from the expression “Love in Kyushu”.<\/p>\n

The leader is Amano Natsu.<\/p>\n

Araki Kokoro and Araki Sakura are sisters.<\/p>\n

There were 1162 applicants to the auditions held in April 2011. 33 girls were selected.<\/p>\n

LinQ’s debut single Hajimemashite (\u30cf\u30b8\u30e1\u30de\u30b7\u30c6)<\/span> was released in June 2011 under the label T-Palette Records.<\/p>\n

The 2nd generation members were recruited in June 2011. Among them, Shiira Fuko, Kitayama Mao, Kimura Saki and Fukuyama Kana were previously part of Loveit’s.<\/p>\n

The photobook LinQ 1st official book ~Matomemashite~<\/a> (\uff5e\u30de\u30fb\u30c8\u30fb\u30e1\u30fb\u30de\u30b7\u30c6\uff5e)<\/span> was published in August 2012.<\/p>\n

The regular show LinQ\u2665LinK<\/span> is being broadcast on the internet on TV Asahi (\u30c6\u30ec\u671d\u52d5\u753b) every Wednesday since September 2012.<\/p>\n

Yuki Narumi was a finalist of the Japanese contest for Miss International 2013 (2013\u30df\u30b9\u30a4\u30f3\u30bf\u30fc\u30ca\u30b7\u30e7\u30ca\u30eb\u30d5\u30a1\u30a4\u30ca\u30ea\u30b9\u30c8).<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"The documentary film LinQ Zero<\/a> (\u30ea\u30f3\u30af\u30fb\u30bc\u30ed)<\/span> was released in April 2013. It follows the history of the idol group from its creation in 2011 to former leader Uehara Asami<\/a>‘s graduation concert in February 2013. Uehara Asami was a former member of HR<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Himesaki Ami acted in the stage play Shinigami Hime no Saikon<\/a> (\u6b7b\u795e\u59eb\u306e\u518d\u5a5a)<\/span> in March 2013. The story is based on the manga of the same name. She played the role of Alicia.<\/p>\n

LinQ made their major debut with the single Chime ga Owareba<\/a> (\u30c1\u30e3\u30a4\u30e0\u304c\u7d42\u308f\u308c\u3070)<\/span> released in April 2013 under the label Warner Music Japan.<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"In May 2013, Fukase Chisei sung with Lyrical School<\/a> on a song of their single Parade<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Maikawa Aya and Ito Maki played in the movie \u8b90 \u301cAda\u301c<\/a><\/span> released in July 2013 along with other idol groups such as Up Up Girls (Kari)<\/a>, Vanilla Beans<\/a>, Caramel Ribbon and Lyrical School.<\/p>\n

The sub-unit SRAM<\/a> was formed in November 2013. It consists of Sara, Rou, Aya, Myu, Lady K. They perform rock songs.<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"In August 2014, the girls participated in a prevention campaign against the locomotive syndrome. They practiced gymnastics on some videos.<\/p>\n

Amano Natsu hosts the radio show LinQ no “wa” (LinQ\u306e\u300e\u308f\u300f)<\/span> on Tokyo FM since August 2014. She makes an interview with a special guest every week along with other members.<\/p>\n

The single\u00a0Wessai!! Gassai!!<\/a> (\u30a6\u30a7\u30c3\u30b5\u30a4!!\u30ac\u30c3\u30b5\u30a4!!)<\/span>, released in September 2014, was produced in collaboration with Dempagumi.inc<\/a>. The members of the latter idol group Yumemi Nemu and Aizawa Risa made respectively the music video and the design of the costumes.<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"The TV show LinQ no Kao to Namae Dake Demo! (LinQ\u306e\u9854\u3068\u540d\u524d\u3060\u3051\u3067\u3082\uff01)<\/span> started airing on Pigoo in October 2014. In this program, the girls face various challenges in the 23 wards of Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Maikawa Aya released her 1st DVD My\u2665Kawa<\/span> in October 2014.<\/p>\n

Himesaki Ami made her solo debut as a Vocaloid Idol under the name of AmiHime in 2014. She signed under T-Palette Records label.<\/p>\n

Ito Maki participated in the Miss iD 2015<\/span> contest.<\/p>\n

Their official Line account @linqline was opened in March 2015.<\/p>\n

Himesaki Ami debuted as a voice actress (seiyuu) for Venus Project<\/span> anime and RPG video game in March 2015.<\/p>\n

In April 2015,\u00a0Takaki Yumi, Yamaki Ayano,\u00a0Oba Ayaka,\u00a0Fukase Chisei,\u00a0Araki Sakura and Sakai Asaka appeared as pizza delivery girls in a commercial movie (CM) for Pizza Cooc<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"The music video for their 6th major single Hare Hare\u2606Parade<\/a> (\u30cf\u30ec\u30cf\u30ec\u2606\u30d1\u30ec\u30fc\u30c9)<\/span> was filmed at a\u00a0popular wedding destination that was built on an artificial island\u00a0in Fukuoka.<\/p>\n

Kohinata Maina and Iwamoto Kotone joined LinQ in May 2015. They are former members of BudLab.<\/p>\n

Takaki Yumi, Sakai Asaka,\u00a0Himesaki Ami,\u00a0Yamaki Ayano and Ito Maki participated in Connect Japan 2015<\/span> in Bangkok, Thailand, in May 2015.<\/p>\n

Mizuno Marina’s contract was terminated by the management agency in May 2015.\u00a0No specific details were given about the reasons for her dismissal. A bad behavior was mentioned.<\/p>\n

Myu appeared in a commercial for the Fukuoka City Human Rights Education Center (\u798f\u5ca1\u5e02\u4eba\u6a29\u5553\u767a) in June 2015.<\/p>\n

Himesaki Ami performed as a voice actress in the anime Kurayama Santa (\u6697\u95c7\u4e09\u592a)<\/span> in July 2015.<\/p>\n

Kimura Saki and Yuji Narumi announced her graduation in July 2015.<\/p>\n

The girls were appointed image characters for Uminonakamichi Sunshine Pool (\u6d77\u306e\u4e2d\u9053\u30b5\u30f3\u30b7\u30e3\u30a4\u30f3\u30d7\u30fc\u30eb)<\/span> during the summer of 2015.<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"LinQ members Yoshikawa Chiaki, Himesaki Ami and Araki Sakura participated in Toronto Japanese summer festival Matsuri<\/span> in Canada in July 2015.<\/p>\n

Sakai Asaka appeared in a commercial campaign for Ringer Hut (\u30ea\u30f3\u30ac\u30fc\u30cf\u30c3\u30c8) fast-foot restaurants in August 2015.<\/p>\n

The idol group performed at the opening act of international rugby match Japan vs Uruguay at Fukuoka stadium in August 2015.<\/p>\n

Araki Sakura’s 1st photobook Sakura Days<\/span> was published in October 2015.<\/p>\n

In December 2015, Ito Maki made an appearance in the music video for Urbangarde’s Heisei Shibou Yugi (\u5e73\u6210\u6b7b\u4ea1\u904a\u622f)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In January 2016, Takaki Yumi performed in Kami-sama Hajimemashite The Musical 2016 (\u795e\u69d8\u306f\u3058\u3081\u307e\u3057\u305f The Musical\u266a2016)<\/span>. Kishida Mayu, Yoshikawa Chiaki, Araki Sakura and Araki Kokoro participated in a show as guests.<\/p>\n

\"LinQ\"In February 2016, LinQ members participated, as\u00a0local celebrities, in the opening ceremony of the Setsubun Festival (\u7bc0\u5206\u5927\u796d) at the Tochoji temple\u00a0and at the Kushida and Sumiyoshi shrines in Fukuoka. This annual event commemorates the last day of the winter, and the arrival\u00a0of spring, in association with the Lunar New Year.<\/p>\n

In February 2016,\u00a0Hoshino Mai<\/a> joined LinQ as a 7th generation member.<\/p>\n

Kitayama Mao’s contract was terminated after she broke off contact with the staff inFebruary 2016.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0few weeks later, former\u00a0BudLaB members Seto Kaede and Kaizuki Rana were recruited.<\/p>\n

Araki Sakura, Sakai Asaka, Ooba Ayaka, Fukuyama Kana, Takaki Yumi, Amano Natsu, Fukase Chisei, Ito Maki and Hara Naoko are starring the movie Minna Suitouto (\u307f\u3093\u306a\u597d\u3044\u3068\u3046\u3068\u266a)<\/span> which is going to be released in March\u00a02016 in Japan.<\/p>\n

In March, Maikawa Aya participated in Fukuoka Asia Collection Show 2016 Spring-Summer (\u798f\u5ca1\u30a2\u30b8\u30a2\u30b3\u30ec\u30af\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3)<\/span> as a designer for her own fashion brand Mykawa.<\/p>\n

Hara Naoko makes regular appearance on the TV show Lonpuku Atsushi (\u30ed\u30f3\u30d7\u30af\u2606\u6df3)<\/span> on KBC since April 2016.<\/p>\n

Takaki Yumi appeared in a commercial for Ming Hakata Ekinaka Shopping mall in April 2016.<\/p>\n

Matsumura Kurumi is going to graduate during the spring of 2016.<\/p>\n

Takaki Yumi participated in a TV commercial for Bike Ou (\u30d0\u30a4\u30af\u738b) in April 2016.<\/p>\n

LinQ performed at IDOLidge Carnival in Taipei<\/span>, Taiwan, in May 2016.<\/p>\n

Ichinose Miku and\u00a0Fukase Chisei<\/a>\u00a0will leave the idol group in June\u00a02016. Since they will turn 30 years old, they decided to pursue solo activities in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n
