Victory<\/strong> (\u304c\u3093\u3070\u308c\uff01Victory) is a Japanese femal rock\u00a0band and idol group (bandol).<\/p>\n<p>They perform rock songs inspired by the 1970s and the 1980s.<\/p>\n<p>The band\u00a0currently consists of 5 members.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n<p>Ganbare! Victory&#8217;s themes are &#8220;Zettai Nama Oto Shugi&#8221; (\u7d76\u5bfe\u751f\u97f3\u4e3b\u7fa9) meaning that they hold regular live performances, and &#8220;Heisei Old Rock&#8221; (\u5e73\u6210\u30aa\u30fc\u30eb\u30c9\u30ed\u30c3\u30af) which refers to the 70s &#8211; 80s rock music.<\/p>\n<p>Their activities are mainly located in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>The idol unit\u00a0was formed when the girls were 6th grade students at elementary school. (Note : in Japan, middle school starts at the 7th grade). Their original name was Victory.<\/p>\n<p>Minami was in the same class as Madoka (Tancobuchin).<\/p>\n<p>Ganbare! Victory received the Grand Prize at the <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Karatsu Junior Music Festival (\u5510\u6d25\u30b8\u30e5\u30cb\u30a2\u97f3\u697d\u796d)<\/span> in February 2008.<\/p>\n<p>They won at the <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Teens Rock in Hitachinaka<\/span> in July 2011.<\/p>\n<p>They are the youngest artists to have performed at <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Rock in Japan<\/span> festival in August 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Ganbare! Victory&#8217;s debut single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Niji<\/span> was released under Kiss Music label in November 2011.<\/p>\n<p>They won the Grand Prize at the Tokyo MX girls band audition <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Milky Bunny 2700<\/span> in April 2013.<\/p>\n<p>The idol group released its 1st mini-album <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">KGSD<\/span> in January 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The girls graduated from high school and moved to Tokyo in March 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The band signed under Pony Canyon label in December 2014.<\/p>\n<p>They held their 100th live peformance in December 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Ganbare! Victory&#8217;s major debut single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Zenryoku! Start \/ Yume wo Tsuzuki (\u5168\u529b\uff01\u30b9\u30bf\u30fc\u30c8 \/ \u5922\u306e\u3064\u3065\u304d)<\/span> went on sale in May 2015. They are participated in various missions such as distributing 20000 flyers in front ot the Prince Dome before the baseball games of the Saitama Seibu Lions, cheering the team&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>The show <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">\u304c\u3093\u3070\u308c\uff01Victory\uff5e\u25cb\u25cb\u25cb\u3078\u306e\u9053\uff5e<\/span> is broadcast on Thursdays at 21:00 (JST) on Nico Nico from July to September 2015.<\/p>\n<p>The song <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Dear<\/span> is the tie-up for the <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Yukata Collection 2015<\/span> commercial by Apita and Piago. It is the B-side track of the single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/ganbare-victory-rarirarira\/\">Lalilalila<\/a> (\u30e9\u30ea\u30e9\u30ea\u30e9)<\/span> on sale in September 2015.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-32898\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2015\/12\/ganbare-victory-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Ganbare! Victory collaborated with manga artist\u00a0Ishii Hisaichi.\u00a0Gag comics character\u00a0Tabuchi-kun (\u30bf\u30d6\u30c1\u304f\u3093) appears in the MV for\u00a0<span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/ganbare-victory-seishun-hero\/\">Seishun! Hero<\/a> (\u9752\u6625\uff01\u30d2\u30fc\u30ed\u30fc)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>The girls host a regular segment on the radio show <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">E\u221eTracks Selection<\/span> on FM Osaka since January 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Ganbare! Victory&#8217;s 1st major album <span style=\"font-style: italic;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/ganbare-victory-juudai-happyou\/\" target=\"_blank\">Juudai Happyou<\/a> (\u5341\u4ee3\u767a\u8868)<\/span>, on sale in March 2016, includes the song <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">3 3 7 Hyoushi (\u4e09\u4e09\u4e03\u62cd\u5b50)<\/span>.
