\"DancingDancing Dolls<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in 2011. Their name is sometimes shortened as DanDoll (\u30c0\u30f3\u30c9\u30eb).<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 5 members.<\/p>\n

The leader is Misaki.<\/p>\n

The main vocalist is Mii.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"DancingThe 5 original members were Hono, Mii, Misaki, Asuka and Kyoka. They are childhood friends from Osaka.<\/p>\n

Asuka and Kyoka are twin sisters.<\/p>\n

The girls were discovered on the internet after having posted some videos of their street live performance in Osaka Castle Park on Nico Nico Douga (\u30cb\u30b3\u30cb\u30b3\u52d5\u753b) and YouTube. They quickly became popular and got over 10 million views.<\/p>\n

Misaki was the choreographer. The members worked on writing the lyrics.<\/p>\n

The idol unit signed under major label Sony Music Entertainment in 2012.<\/p>\n

\"DancingDancing Dolls released their 1st single Touch -A.S.A.P.- \/ Shanghai Darling<\/a> (\u30bf\u30c3\u30c1 -A.S.A.P.- \/ \u4e0a\u6d77\u30c0\u30fc\u30ea\u30f3)<\/span> in September 2012. This track was also the theme song for the anime Touch (\u30bf\u30c3\u30c1)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Misaki, Asuka and Kyoka reached the 1st and the 2nd position after a vote during the show Sakigake! Idol Sousenkyo (\u9b41\uff01\u30a2\u30a4\u30c9\u30eb\u7dcf\u9078\u6319)<\/span> broadcast on Fuji TV in December 2012. They were competing against the members of other idol groups.<\/p>\n

\"DancingDancing Dolls participated in the festival Kawaii Pop Fes by @Jam in Taiwan<\/span> in January 2014 along with Up Up Girls (Kari)<\/a>, Super\u2606Girls<\/a>, Dempagumi.inc<\/a>, Tokyo Girls’ Style<\/a>, and Dorothy Little Happy<\/a>. This event was their first overseas live performance.<\/p>\n

Their 5th single Monochrome<\/a><\/span> is the opening theme song for the anime Soul Eater Not! (\u30bd\u30a6\u30eb\u30a4\u30fc\u30bf\u30fc\u30ce\u30c3\u30c8\uff01)<\/span>. The CD was released in May 2014.<\/p>\n

Asuka and Kyoka left the idol group in May 2014.<\/p>\n

\"Dancing<\/p>\n

Miu and Kanon<\/a> joined Dancing Dolls as new members in February 2015.<\/p>\n

Both girls made a cover of the song\u00a0Melo Melo Bakkyun (\u30e1\u30ed\u30e1\u30ed\u30d0\u30c3\u30ad\u30e5\u30f3)<\/span> on the single\u00a0My Way \/ Love Me, Love Me<\/span><\/a> released in March 2015.<\/p>\n

Their single Michi no Sekai e \/ Odoru Kokoro<\/a> (\u30df\u30c1\u30ce\u30bb\u30ab\u30a4\u30d8 \/ \u30aa\u30c9\u30eb\u30b3\u30b3\u30ed)<\/span>, on sale in August 2015, features samples from nobodyknows+’s song Kokoro Odoru (\u30b3\u30b3\u30ed\u30aa\u30c9\u30eb)<\/span>.<\/p>\n
