\"KotoneKotone Mai<\/strong> (\u5c0f\u6843\u97f3\u307e\u3044), born on August 24, 1990 in Kobe (Japan), is a Japanese idol and singer.<\/p>\n

Her nickname is Mainya<\/strong> (\u307e\u3044\u306b\u3083).<\/p>\n

Her height is 147.6 cm.<\/p>\n

Kotone Mai told that she had decided to become an idol because she was originally a fan of Hello! Project.<\/p>\n

One of her dreams is to hold a concert at Nakano Sun Plaza, Tokyo.<\/p>\n

Biography<\/h2>\n

\"KotoneKotone Mai began her music career in April 2009.<\/p>\n

Mainya participated in her 1st live performance in April 2009 at Omotesando Fab alongside other artists.<\/p>\n

Her 1st single Dreamscape\u2606<\/span> was released in October 2009. It was a limited edition. The 1000 copies of the CD were sold in 3 days.<\/p>\n

Mainya held concerts at Akiba Festa in Thailand in 2011 and Shinsen Animation Festival in China in 2012.<\/p>\n

Her album 1st Chocotto<\/a> (1st-\u30c1\u30e7\u30b3\u3063\u3068)<\/span> went on sale in February 2013.<\/p>\n

Kotone Mai signed under Victor Entertainment’s label Version Music on May 10, 2013. This day has officially been certified “Kotone’s Day” (\u3053\u3068\u306d\u306e\u65e5) by the Japan Anniversary Association.<\/p>\n

\"KotoneHer major debut single Bang Bang Koteki Samba<\/a> (Bang Bang \u9f13\u7b1b\u30b5\u30f3\u30d0)<\/span> was released in August 2013. It ranked 8th on the Oricon daily chart.<\/p>\n

It was announced in February 2014 that she had left Pony Canyon to join Victor Entertainment’s label VersionMusic.<\/p>\n

Kotone Mai formed the idol unit Mainya with Shuffle Sisters (\u307e\u3044\u306b\u3083 with \u30b7\u30e3\u30c3\u30d5\u30eb\u30fb\u30b7\u30b9\u30bf\u30fc\u30ba) in collaboration with 3 members of Dianna Sweet<\/a>. They released the single\u00a0Parade Illusion<\/a> (\u30d1\u30ec\u30fc\u30c9\u30fb\u30a4\u30ea\u30e5\u30fc\u30b8\u30e7\u30f3)<\/span> in October 2014. It is the ending theme song for the anime Mysterious Joker (\u602a\u76d7\u30b8\u30e7\u30fc\u30ab\u30fc ; Kaitou Joker)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"KotoneShe gave concerts in Taiwan in April and in August 2015.<\/p>\n

In August 2015, Kotone Mai was transferred to Monster Japan Association.<\/p>\n

The singles Colorful\u221eInfinity<\/span> and Chururippa (\u3061\u3085\u308b\u308a\u3063\u3071)<\/span> were only on sale at concert halls in August 2015.<\/p>\n

Mainya\u00a0participated in IDOLidge Carnival<\/span> in Taipei in December 2015.<\/p>\n

\"KotoneIn February 2016, Kotone Mai and Minami Chisato (Idol College<\/a>)\u00a0participated, along with\u00a0local celebrities, in the Setsubun Festival (\u7bc0\u5206\u5927\u796d) at the Honmonji\u00a0temple in Tokyo. This annual event commemorates the last day of the winter, and the arrival\u00a0of spring, in association with the Lunar New Year.<\/p>\n

She went back to Taiwan in May 2016.<\/p>\n

Kotone Mai’s solo graduation is scheduled in August 2016. This event will mark the end of her solo activities.<\/p>\n

Mainya is going to create a new idol group during the summer in order to purser her career.<\/p>\n
