They are also known as KaiTro (\u602a\u30c8\u30ed).<\/p>\n<p>It currently consists of 8 members. Each one of them has been assigned a fruit and a color.<\/p>\n<p>The girls are divided into 2 teams : <strong>Seishun! Tropical Maru<\/strong> (\u9752\u6625\uff01\u30c8\u30ed\u30d4\u30ab\u30eb\u4e38) and <strong>Junjou! Tropical Maru<\/strong> (\u7d14\u60c5\uff01\u30c8\u30ed\u30d4\u30ab\u30eb\u4e38).<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The captain is Momokawa Haruka.<\/p>\n<p>The idol group has for purpose to support agriculture, forestery, fishing and the water industry.<\/p>\n<h2>Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-4402\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2012\/10\/kaiketsu-tropical-maru.jpg\" alt=\"Kaiketsu! Tropical Maru (\u602a\u5091\uff01\u30c8\u30ed\u30d4\u30ab\u30eb\u4e38)\" width=\"134\" height=\"90\" \/>The idol group held its 1st live performance in November 2011 at <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Tokyo Ramen Show (\u6771\u4eac\u30e9\u30fc\u30e1\u30f3\u30b7\u30e7\u30fc2011)<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Their official blog was opened on the same month.<\/p>\n<p>Kaiketsu! Tropical Maru released their debut single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Tropical Kiss \/ Himawari (\u30c8\u30ed\u30d4\u30ab\u30eb\u30ad\u30c3\u30b9 \/ \u3072\u307e\u308f\u308a)<\/span> in January 2012.<\/p>\n<p>The idol group held its 1st live tour in June 2012 in Osaka and Hyogo Prefectures.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-12466\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2013\/05\/kaiketsu-tropical-maru.jpg\" alt=\"Kaiketsu! Tropical Maru made their debut with the single <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Nazo Darake Love\u00d72Daring (\u8b0e\u3060\u3089\u3051Love\u00d72Daring)<\/span> released in December 2013.<\/p>\n<p>In September 2014, Momokawa Haruka appeared in the movie <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Alps Jogakuen (\u30a2\u30eb\u30d7\u30b9\u5973\u5b66\u5712)<\/span> along with members from other idol groups.<\/p>\n<p>Momokawa Haruka&#8217;s solo DVD <span style=\"font-style: italic;\">Momoiro Sunset (\u767e\u8272\u30b5\u30f3\u30bb\u30c3\u30c8)<\/span> went on sale in October 2014.<\/p>\n<h2>Profile<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Kaiketsu!
