\u0160\"CheekyCheeky Parade<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in February 2012 by Avex and produced under the label iDOL Street.<\/p>\n

They are also known as CheekyPa (\u30c1\u30ad\u30d1).<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 9 members.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Cheeky Parade is a sister group of Super\u2606Girls<\/a> and GEM<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The meaning of the idol unit’s name and its concept are : “a little impertinent dance and fashion”.<\/p>\n

The leader is Suzuki Yuriya.<\/p>\n

Kodakari Momoka is the younger sister of former NMB48<\/a> Team M member Kodakari Yuka.<\/p>\n

Suzuki Yuriya and Mariya are sisters. Their nickname is YuriMari (\u3086\u308a\u307e\u308a).<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"Cheeky8 girls, with the exception of Kodakari Momoka, passed the Avex Idol Audition 2010 (avex \u30a2\u30a4\u30c9\u30eb\u30aa\u30fc\u30c7\u30a3\u30b7\u30e7\u30f32010)<\/span> in December 2009. They debuted as members of iDOL Street Street-sei (\u30b9\u30c8\u30ea\u30fc\u30c8\u751f).<\/p>\n

Cheeky Parade was officially formed in February 2012.<\/p>\n

Their 1st single Cheeky Dreamer<\/span> was released in April 2012.<\/p>\n

In September 2012, the new logo used during their live performances has been unveiled. The character became the official mascot of the unit. Its name is Cheekiss (\u30c1\u30a3\u30ad\u30b9)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"CheekyCheeky Parade made their major label debut in January 2013 with the single Bunbun Nine9′<\/a><\/span>. It reached the 4th position on the Oricon weekly ranking.<\/p>\n

Their show CheekyPa Tsuushin (\u30c1\u30ad\u30d1\u901a\u4fe1)<\/span> is broadcast on YouTube. It follows the activities of the idol group.<\/p>\n

Their 1st album<\/a> was released in November 2013.<\/p>\n

The members held their 1st concert Cheeky Parade Premium Live “The First”<\/a><\/span> in March 2014 at Shinagawa Stellar Ball, Tokyo.<\/p>\n

\"CheekyIn June 2014, the girls participated in Kawaii Pop Fes<\/span> in Hong Kong along with other idol groups.<\/p>\n

Their 1st radio show Don ChikiPa! (\u30c9\u30f3\u30c1\u30ad\u30d1\uff01)<\/span> started broadcasting in September 2014 in collaboration with Don Quijote stores.<\/p>\n

Sekine Yuna appeared in a commercial for Puccho candy in September 2014.<\/p>\n

The members of Cheeky Parade were appointed as Japan Tax-free PR ambassadors in October 2014. The campaign aims to promote the new tax exemption system for foreign visitors to Japan.<\/p>\n

\"CheekyCheeky Parade Live in New York<\/a><\/span> was held in October 2014. This event was their first concert in USA. It was the final performance of Cheeky Parade Nine Lives Tour ~Road to NY~<\/span> held between April and October 2014 across Japan.<\/p>\n

The 4th iDOL Street Sports Festival (\u7b2c4\u56de \u79cb\u306e\u5927\u904b\u52d5\u4f1a2014 \uff5e\u30a2\u30a4\u30c9\u30eb\u306e\u6c57\u304c\u7729\u3057\u3059\u304e\u30f3\u3060\u3088\u3049!!\uff5e)<\/span> was held in November 2014. Cheeky Parade, Super\u2606Girls and GEM took part in various sports challenges.<\/p>\n

Sekine Yuna and\u00a0Shimura Rika (Super\u2606Girls) and Kanazawa Yuki (GEM) make regular appearances on the show Harajuku Base (\u539f\u5bbf\u30d9\u30fc\u30b9)<\/span> on Chiba TV since January 2015. They talk about Harajuku fashion.<\/p>\n

The girls participated in a marketing campaign for the video game Dairantou! Dragon Parade (\u5927\u4e71\u95d8\uff01\uff01\u30c9\u30e9\u30b4\u30f3\u30d1\u30ec\u30fc\u30c9)<\/span> by Sega in January 2015. It is available on iOS and Android.<\/p>\n

\"Chouzetsu\u2606Utagekidan21 members from Cheeky Parade, Super\u2606Girls and GEM performed in the theater show Chouzetsu\u2606Utagekidan 2015 ~Super World\u2606Returns~ (\u8d85\u7d76\u2606\u6b4c\u5287\u56e3 2015 \uff5eSuper World\u2606Returns\uff5e)<\/span> at Tokyo DDD Aoyama Cross Theater in February 2015. Teams were led by\u00a0Mizorogi Seran, Watanabe Koume and Murakami Rana.<\/p>\n

Some members took a special certification exam organized by iDOL Street in March 2015. Suzuki Yuriya and Suzuki Mariya passed the test with 80 and 86 points, but Nizorogi Seran failed with 76 points. They received a commemorative badge and an invitation to a special event.<\/p>\n

The girls host the regular program Cheeky Boot Channel<\/span> since April 2015.<\/p>\n

In May 2015, Suzuki Yuriya revealed that she owns 4 snakes. She loves pets.<\/p>\n

Cheeky Parade Live House Tour ~Cheeky Boot Camp~<\/span> was held nationwide across Japan from May to June 2015.<\/p>\n

\"CheekyKodakari Momoka appeared on Hirunandesu (\u30d2\u30eb\u30ca\u30f3\u30c7\u30b9)<\/span> show in June 2015. Her character is noticeable for speaking Kansai dialect.<\/p>\n

In June 2015, Suzuki Yuriya revealed that she likes playing the guitar.<\/p>\n

A short dance movie titled Honnoji Incident<\/a> (\u672c\u80fd\u5bfa\u306e\u5909)<\/span> featuring Watanabe Asami and Yamamoto Marin, and posted on Twitter, became a hot topic on the internet with a lot a views. It is inspired by a Japanese meme.<\/p>\n

The title of the\u00a0single\u00a0M.O.N.ST@R<\/a><\/span>, on sale in July 2015,\u00a0stands for “Manifest of No.1 Star”. The reason is that the aim of the idol group is to become number 1.<\/p>\n

In October 2015, Cheeky Parade performed at Moshi Moshi Nippon Festival<\/span> in Paris, France, and at Japan Expo 2015<\/span> in Los Angeles, USA.<\/p>\n

In October 2015, the girls made a cameo appearance in the drama ~Mutsu Mieru Me~ (\u7121\u75db\uff5e\u8a3a\u3048\u308b\u773c\uff5e)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"GirlsIn November 2015, Nizorogi Seran (Cheeky Parade), Asakawa Nana, Maeshima Ami, Watanabe Koume (Super\u2606Girls), Murakami Rana, Iyama Maho, Morioka Yu, Oguri Kako, Takeda Maya, Minamiguchi Nana, Kanazawa Yuki (GEM), Matsunaga Nene (Girls Street Audition) were starring in the stage play Girls Street Theater 2015 Za Hana Miyo Concerto (\u5ea7\u30fb\u82b1\u5fa1\u4ee3\u30b3\u30f3\u30c1\u30a7\u30eb\u30c8)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In November 2015, the idol group paid a tribute to Back to the Future<\/span> on a poster and during a live performance.<\/p>\n

In December 2015, Sekine Yuna, Suzuki Yuriya and Nizorogi Seran were models for a campaign for Don Quijote’s cosplay collection Candy Parade<\/span>. They were wearing various Santa Claus and Christmas costumes.<\/p>\n

\"CheekyIn January 2016,\u00a0Yamamoto Marin and Suzuki Mariya<\/a> announced that they were going to temporarily suspend activities during 2 years in order to study in Los Angeles with Takeda Maaya (GEM).<\/p>\n

These 2 girls made their last appearance on Cheeky Parade’s 6th single Sky Gate<\/a><\/span> on sale in February 2016. The MV was filmed in Okinawa.<\/p>\n

In April 2016, it was announced that the idol group changed its name to Chicken Party. Some photos of the members wearing chicken costumes were also unveiled. It was an April fool.<\/p>\n

Suzuki Yuriya replaced Sekine Yuna as the new leader in June 2016.<\/p>\n

Cheeky Parade participated in Japan Expo 2016<\/span> in Paris Nord Villepinte (France) in July 2016.<\/p>\n

Yamamoto Marin and Suzuki Mariya left the idol group to study in Los Angeles in July 2016.<\/p>\n

The idol group released the single Hands up!<\/a><\/span> in September 2016. The song was written and composed Hige Driver, and arranged by his group HigedriVAN. The girls were wearing pajama outfits\u00a0(kawaii style) in contradiction with the aggressive rock style of the song.<\/p>\n
