\"Rev.Rev. from DVL<\/strong> is a Japanese idol group formed in June 2011.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 11 members.<\/p>\n

The center is popular idol Hashimoto Kanna.<\/p>\n

The leader is Imai Hitomi.<\/p>\n

The unit is based in Fukuoka in the prefecture of the same name.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"Rev.<\/h2>\n

The name comes from 2 words. “Rev” is an abbreviation for “revolution” and it means “dream” in Haitian<\/p>\n

creole. “DVL” is an acronym for “Dance Vocal Lesson”.<\/p>\n

Rev. from DVL perform mainly in festivals and local events around Fukuoka. The members are also models.<\/p>\n

In July 2013, Rev. from DVL participated in Manga Festival<\/span> in Vietnam.<\/p>\n

\"HashimotoIn November 2013, Hashimoto Kanna<\/strong> gained the attention and became popular on the internet due to her cuteness. As a result, various photos of her have been published on Japanese websites such as 2ch. Some idol fans believe that she will be the next superstar. The nickname “the too angelic idol (\u5929\u4f7f\u3059\u304e\u308b\u30a2\u30a4\u30c9\u30eb)” that we can find “once in a thousand years” has been given to her.<\/p>\n

\"Rev.Rev. from DVL went back in Vietnam in December 2013 to hold new live performances.<\/p>\n

Narunaru and Kanae<\/a> graduated from the idol group in February 2014.<\/p>\n

Their radio show Rev. from DVL no Vitamin Revolution<\/span> started broadcasting in March 2014 on KBC Radio.<\/p>\n

Akiyama Miho and Washio Miki host a segment titled Rev. ni Ai ni Kinshai! (Rev.\u306b\u9022\u3044\u306b\u304d\u3093\u3057\u3083\u3044\uff01)<\/span> on the show Girls\u2606Punch<\/span> broadcast on RKB Radio every Friday evening. Hashimoto Kanna makes irregular appearances.<\/p>\n

\"Rev.Rev. from DVL released their major debut single Love -Arigatou-<\/a><\/span> under the label Yoshimoto R and C in April 2014.<\/p>\n

It is also the CM song for the first commercial<\/a> featuring Hashimoto Kanna and Rev. from DVL.<\/p>\n

In May 2014, Hashimoto Kanna appeared in a TV CM for the social video game Girlfriend Beta (\u30ac\u30fc\u30eb\u30d5\u30ec\u30f3\u30c9\uff08\u4eee\uff09)<\/span>. Her own anime character is also featuring in the game.<\/p>\n

\"Rev.The idol group participated in the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2014 (VMAJ)<\/span> on MTV Asia in June 2014.<\/p>\n

Their 1st one-man live, entitled Live And Peace vol.1<\/span>, was held in August 2014 in Fukuoka.<\/p>\n

Hashimoto Kanna’s 1st photobook and DVD Little Star ~Kanna 15~<\/span><\/a> were successively released in November 2014 and in February 2015.<\/p>\n

Hashimoto Kanna performed as a voice actress (seiyu) in the anime Aikatsu! (\u30a2\u30a4\u30ab\u30c4\uff01)<\/span> in late 2014.<\/p>\n

\"Rev.In January 2015,\u00a0Rev. from DVL members appeared in\u00a0another commercial for Juutaku Jouhou-kan (\u4f4f\u5b85\u60c5\u5831\u9928\u65b0) real estate agency. The CM was broadcast on TV in Tokyo and Sendai areas.<\/p>\n

The idol group held its 1st concert tour, entitled Live House Tour Live And Peace vol.3<\/span>, between February and March 2015.<\/p>\n

Hashimoto Kanna was appointed as Gabonumi (\u304c\u3076\u98f2\u307f) manager as part of a campaign to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the soda brand in March 2015.<\/p>\n

\"Rev.The “once in a thousand year idol” also appeared in commercial for Nissin cup noodles in April and in July 2015.<\/p>\n

The girls host Rev. from DVL no Ho-Kago (Rev.fromDVL\u306e\u30db\u30fc\u30ab\u30b4)<\/span> variety show since April 2015.<\/p>\n

In August 2015, Hashimoto Kanna dressed up as a maid and as a devil in commercials for Rohto’s Lip Baby Fruits and Lip Baby Crayon.<\/p>\n

Motono Kyoka announced her graduation in October 2015.<\/p>\n

\"Rev.Ikematsu Airi<\/a> joined the idol unit\u00a0as a new member in November 2015. She made her first appearance on the single Okujou no Sukima Shiroi Sora<\/a> (\u5c4b\u4e0a\u306e\u30b9\u30ad\u30de\u767d\u3044\u30bd\u30e9)<\/span>\u00a0on sale in January 2016.<\/p>\n

Rev. from DVL official fan club\u00a0I Rev You\u00a0(\u30a2\u30a4\u30fb\u30ec\u30d6\u30fb\u30e6\u30fc) was created in December 2015.<\/p>\n

A smartphone app was launched at the same time. It is available on Android and iPhone devices.<\/p>\n

The idol group participated in Winter Convention<\/span> in Ho-Chi-Minh City, in Vietnam, in late December 2015.<\/p>\n

\"HashimotoHashimoto Kanna is starring in the movie Sailor Suit and Machine Gun -Graduation- (\u30bb\u30fc\u30e9\u30fc\u670d\u3068\u6a5f\u95a2\u9283 -\u5352\u696d-)<\/span> which is going to be released in theaters in March 2016 in Japan. The story is about a teenage delinquent schoolgirl named Izumi Hoshi who inherits her father’s yakuza clan.<\/p>\n

Hashimoto Kanna’s solo debut single Sailor Fuku to Kikanjuu<\/a> (\u30bb\u30fc\u30e9\u30fc\u670d\u3068\u6a5f\u95a2\u9283)<\/span>, on sale in February 2016, is the theme song for the movie. She wrote the lyrics of the coupling song arigato \uff5e \u3042\u308a\u304c\u3068\u3046<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In April 2016, Akiyama Miho, Shinomiya Nagisa, Hashimoto Yukina and Ikematsu Airi formed the special unit Rev. from DVL Teenz in Vietnam. They aim to promote Calpis Teenz drink in this country. Their song ng\u1ecdt m\u00e0 chua chua m\u00e0 ng\u1ecdt<\/span> is used in the commercial.<\/p>\n

Takahashi Nanami and Kouya Honami<\/a> graduated in May 2016.<\/p>\n

In August 2016, Hashimoto Kanna appeared in a cute black cat costume in a commercial for Lip Baby Crayon make-up.<\/p>\n

Hashimoto Kanna will be starring in the movie Haruka & Chika (\u30cf\u30eb\u30c1\u30ab ; Haruchika)<\/span> along with Sato Shori (Sexy Zone). The story is based on the mystery novel series of the same name by Sei Hatsuno. The movie will be released in theaters in March 2017 in Japan.<\/p>\n
