\"OtomeOtome Shinto<\/strong> (\u4e59\u5973\u65b0\u515a) is a Japanese idol group formed in December 2012.<\/p>\n

It currently consists of 6 members. Each one has been assigned a color.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The concept of the unit is that they are middle school and high school students who are fighting to bring their positive attitude and their energy to people while trying to become popular.<\/p>\n

Biography \/ History<\/h2>\n

\"OtomeOtome Shinto released their debut single Mousou Koukan Nikki<\/a> (\u3082\u3046\u305d\u3046\u2605\u3053\u3046\u304b\u3093\u306b\u3063\u304d)<\/span> in March 2013.<\/p>\n

In September 2013, Aoi Wakana appeared in a CM for the biscuits Bits Sand (\u30d3\u30c3\u30c4\u30b5\u30f3\u30c9) from Yamazaki Nabisco (\u30e4\u30de\u30b6\u30ad\u30ca\u30d3\u30b9\u30b3).<\/p>\n

Otome Shinto performed the theme songs for the anime series\u00a0GJ-bu (GJ\u90e8)<\/span>, Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku (\u5e30\u5b85\u90e8\u6d3b\u52d5\u8a18\u9332)<\/span>, Todofuken R (47\u90fd\u9053\u5e9c\u72acR)<\/span>, Nyamen (\u306b\u3083\uff5e\u3081\u3093)<\/span>, Ai Tenchi Muyo! (\u611b\u30fb\u5929\u5730\u7121\u7528\uff01).<\/span><\/p>\n

Arakawa Chika and Aoi Wakana<\/a> graduated in July 2014.<\/p>\n

\"OtomeAs a result, audition was held in May 2014. The results were announced during their graduation live performance. 4 new members were recruited in order to replace them : Sonohara Arisa, Hasegawa Airi, Ogata Mayu, Aihara Mari.<\/p>\n

In July 2014, Tajiri Ayame and Takahashi Yurika formed the new unit Ayame to Yurika from Otome Shinto (\u3042\u3084\u3081\u3068\u512a\u91cc\u82b1from\u4e59\u5973\u65b0\u515a). The duo released the digital single Dekoboko Kaiketsu Sensation (\u51f8\u51f9\u89e3\u6c7a\u305b\u3093\u305b\u30fc\u3057\u3087\u3093)<\/span>. It is the theme song for the light novel and anime series Jinsei (\u4eba\u751f\u76f8\u8ac7\u30c6\u30ec\u30d3\u30a2\u30cb\u30e1\u30fc\u30b7\u30e7\u30f3\u300e\u4eba\u751f\u300f)<\/span>.<\/p>\n

\"OtomeThe members participated in a new show titled Otome Shinto no Nihon wo Genki ni Suru TV… Dekiru Hani de. (Kari) (\u4e59\u5973\u65b0\u515a\u306e\u65e5\u672c\u3092\u5143\u6c17\u306b\u3059\u308bTV\u2026\u3067\u304d\u308b\u7bc4\u56f2\u3067\u3002\uff08\u4eee\uff09)<\/span>. This regular event started in November 2014 at Akiba Cultures Theater, Tokyo, and was broadcast on NicoNico (\u30cb\u30b3\u30cb\u30b3).<\/p>\n

Otome Shinto and Party Rockets<\/a> formed the special unit Otome Rockets (\u4e59\u5973Rockets) in late 2014. Both idol groups held a joint live tour in March 2015.<\/p>\n

They threw the ceremonial first pitch before the Eastern League baseball game Yomiuri Giants vs Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles in May 2015.<\/p>\n

\"OtomeThe music video for their 6th single Kimi to Pecan Natsu Sengen!!!<\/a> (\u30ad\u30df\u3068\u30d4\u30fc\u30ab\u30f3\u2606Natsu\u5ba3\u8a00\u3063!!!)<\/span> was shot in Cairns, Australia. The girls challenged bungee jumping.<\/p>\n

Otome Shinto and fashion brand Spinns (\u30b9\u30d4\u30f3\u30ba) started a collaboration to celebrate this release in May 2015. Products featuring the idol group were on sale in the shops. The members also participated in various events.<\/p>\n

The idol group collaborated with French sunglasses brand Nunettes in June 2015.<\/p>\n

Hasegawa Airi went on hiatus due to poor physical health in October 2015.<\/p>\n

\"OtomeThe girls turned into Tsuchinoko,\u00a0a mythical snake-like creature from Japan, for their 7th single Tsuchinoko tte Iru to Omou…?<\/a> (\u30c4\u30c1\u30ce\u30b3\u3063\u3066\u3044\u308b\u3068\u601d\u3046…\uff1f\u2661)<\/span> on sale in November 2015.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0360\u00b0 virtual reality virtual video of Shin Otome Shinto no Uta\u00a0(\u65b0\u30fb\u4e59\u5973\u65b0\u515a\u306e\u3046\u305f)<\/span> was released in December 2015. The song was recorded during a live performance.<\/p>\n

Otome Shinto 1st Live Tour ~Tsuchinoko Sagashite Tokyo Nagoya Osaka~ (\u4e59\u5973\u65b0\u515a\u30ef\u30f3\u30de\u30f3\u30e9\u30a4\u30d6\u30c4\u30a2\u30fc2015\uff5e\u30c4\u30c1\u30ce\u30b3\u63a2\u3057\u3066\u6771\u540d\u962a\uff5e)<\/span> was held in December 2015.<\/p>\n

\"OtomeTheir 8th single\u00a0Ame to Namida to Otome to Taiyaki<\/a> (\u96e8\u3068\u6d99\u3068\u4e59\u5973\u3068\u305f\u3044\u713c\u304d)<\/span>, on sale in March 2016, is the ending theme for the anime Nurse Witch Komugi (\u30ca\u30fc\u30b9\u30a6\u30a3\u30c3\u30c1\u5c0f\u9ea6\u3061\u3083\u3093R)<\/span>.\u00a0The idol group\u00a0members also perform as voice actresses in the anime.<\/p>\n

Otome Shinto and\u00a0Hello Kitty will be starring in a musical at Sanrio Puroland in March 2016.<\/p>\n

Hasegawa Airi resumed activities in April 2016.<\/p>\n

The idol group is going to release its 2nd and last album Otome Shinto Dai Ni Maku ~Tabidachi no Uta~<\/a> (\u4e59\u5973\u65b0\u515a \u7b2c\u4e8c\u5e55 \uff5e\u65c5\u7acb\u3061\u306e\u3046\u305f\uff5e)<\/span> in June 2016.<\/p>\n

Otome Shinto are going to disband in July 2016 after a last live performance at Tsutaya O-West in Tokyo.<\/p>\n
