{"id":36540,"date":"2016-11-16T11:47:57","date_gmt":"2016-11-16T10:47:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/fr\/?p=36540"},"modified":"2016-11-16T14:17:15","modified_gmt":"2016-11-16T13:17:15","slug":"new-akb48-sister-group-stu48","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/new-akb48-sister-group-stu48\/","title":{"rendered":"New AKB48 sister group : STU48"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-36554\" src=\"http:\/\/static.jpop-idols.com\/uploads\/2016\/11\/stu48-logo-2-107x150.jpg\" alt=\"STU48\" width=\"107\" height=\"150\" \/>A new idol group of the franchise <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/akb48\">AKB48<\/a><\/strong> was formed: this is <strong>STU48<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The name of the STU48 refers to the town of Setouchi, located in Okayama Prefecture.<\/p>\n<p>After the formation of the sister group NGT48 in 2015, the group of STU48 will be the 6th national sister group of AKB48, scheduled to debut in summer of 2017.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The group will represent a new franchise&#8217;s innovation : for the first time since the creation of the franchise, a &#8220;group 48&#8221; will have its <strong>own theater<\/strong> located on a <strong>cruise<\/strong> that will cross seven prefectures including Yamaguchi, Hiroshima, Okayama, Hyogo, Tokushima, Kagawa and Ehime .<\/p>\n<p>Auditions for recruiting new members is in progress. A member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/en\/nmb48\/\">NMB48<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>Ichikawa\u00a0<strong>Miori<\/strong><\/strong>, could be promoted to become a member of the STU48. She expressed her enthusiasm and pleasure to integrate the new idol group.<\/p>\n<p>The new group logo was unveiled.<\/p>\n<p>You can check out the newly opened STU48&#8217;s official website.<\/p>\n<p>For information purposes, the foreign sister group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpop-idols.com\/fr\/snh48\/\">SNH48<\/a> (Shanghai48) has met with success in China since its inception in 2012 and is no longer a group affiliated with the AKB48 group since June 2016.
