Morning Musume ’18 will participate in Anisong World Matsuri in New York.

Anime NYC powered by Crunchyroll announced the globally renowned Anisong World Matsuri concert series will host its first edition in New York City in partnership with Anime NYC on November 16 and 17, 2018.

Anisong World Matsuri NYC brings together headlining Japanese pop stars for show-stopping concerts. It will feature major performances from Morning Musume ’18, Haruna Luna, Nakagawa Shoko, and more for two nights in New York’s historic Hammerstein Ballroom.

Anisong World Matsuri will take place in collaboration with Anime NYC, New York’s largest anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture convention, which will welcome over 30,000 attendees to New York’s Javits Center on November 16, 17, and 18.

Anisong World Matsuri is a partnership between leading Japanese entertainment companies including BANDAI NAMCO Arts, Inc., Amuse, Inc., and Sony Music Entertainment, Inc. to bring J-Pop music popularized by anime (anisong) to new audiences around the world. It was launched in 2016, has conducted major event concerts in cities including Los Angeles, Shanghai, and Washington DC, and, this November, it will host the largest Japanese pop concert in the history of New York City.
