6 members of JKT48 Team J participated in the “Gala Dinner” held by WakuWaku Japan in Soehanna Hall, Jakarta, on February 14.
Melody Nurramdhani, Haruka Nakagawa, Ayana Shahab, Jessica Vania, Shania Junianatha, Ghaida Farisya appeared on stage to give a speech on WakuWaku Japan grand launching. During this event, the idols have also unveiled the new TV CM made for Sky Perfect JSAT Corporation.

The 3rd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen 2013 (第３回 ＡＫＢ４８紅白対抗歌合戦) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on April 9.
The DVD and the Blu-ray include the 32 songs performed during the live, and bonus footage (making-of, comments by the members od the idol units…).

Watanabe Mayu will be the captain of the Red Team, and Yokoyama Yui the captain of the White Team.

AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, Momoiro Clover Z and E-Girls will participate in the 64th Kouhaku Uta Gassen 2013 (第６4回ＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦) on December 31.
NHK announced the full line up for the 2013 edition of the event. There will be a total of 51 artists. AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, Momoiro Clover Z and E-Girls will be part of the red team.
SKE48 Request Hour Setlist Best 50 2013 ~Anata no Suki na Kyoku wo to Yobu. Dakara, Request Hour wa Matsuri~ (ＳＫＥ４８ リクエストアワーセットリストベスト５０ ２０１３ ～あなたの好きな曲を神曲と呼ぶ。だから、リクエストアワーは神曲祭り。～) was held on October 10-11 at Aichi-Ken Geijutsu Gekijou in Nagoya.
The song Anata to Christmas Eve (あなたとクリスマスイブ) from the Stage S1 was ranked 1st. Kareha no Station (枯葉のステーション) and Omoide Ijou (思い出以上) from the Stage S3 came in 2nd and 3rd position.

Matsui Jurina won the AKB48 Janken Tournament 2013 (AKB48 34thシングル選抜じゃんけん大会). She defeated Kamieda Erika in final.
Matsui Jurina will be the center on AKB48’s 34th single which will be released on December 11. The other senbatsu members on this single are the girls qualified for the Round of 16.
The event was held on September 18 at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo. 83 members from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, and Kenkyuusei participated in the final round of the competition.

AKB48 Super Festival ~Nissan Stadium, Chicche! Chicchakunaishi!!~ (AKB48スーパーフェスティバル ～日産スタジアム、小(ち)っちぇっ! 小(ち)っちゃくないし!!～) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 9.
The box set includes 4 discs featuring the full concert, the ceremony of the 5th AKB48 Senbatsu General Election 2013, the making-of, and other bonus footage.
It comes with a 24-page booklet and 3 photos of the members of AKB48 randomly selected.
AKB48 Super Festival and the AKB48 32nd Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo (AKB48 32ndシングル 選抜総選挙) were held on June 8 at Nissan Stadium, Yokohama.
AKB48 Janken Tournament 2013 (AKB48 34thシングル選抜じゃんけん大会) will be held on September 18.
The event will take place at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.
The top 16 members will be featured in AKB48’s 34th single to be released in late 2013. The winner will get the center position.
It will be the 4th edition of the annual event.
The AKB48 Janken Tournament was won by Uchida Mayumi in 2010, Shinoda Mariko in 2011, and Shimazaki Haruka in 2012.
SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, and Kenkyuusei will participate in the competition in addition to the regular members of AKB48. However, only a limited number of members from each sister group will be selected after a preliminary round.
Sashihara Rino won the 5th AKB48 Senbatsu General Election 2013. Oshima Yuko and Watanabe Mayu came in 2nd and 3rd position.
The first 64 members are selected to perform in AKB48’s 32nd single will be released on August 21.
Shinoda Mariko announced her graduation from AKB48.
