Hauptharmonie (ハウプトハルモニー) is a Japanese idol group formed in 2014.
It currently consists of 6 members.
Biography / History
Their producer is DJ O-ant a.k.a Early Shan (あーりーしゃん). He lived in Düsseldorf, Germany, as a foreign exchange student. That’s why he decided to give german titles to some songs and CDs of the unit.
In June 2014, they debuted as The Idol Has No Name.
The unit was named Hauptharmonie in July 2014. It means “primal harmony”
Their 1st single Freut mich! Wir sind Hauptharmonie ep. was released in November 2014.
Hauptharmonie, Seno Sister, Mirai Skirt and Jyujyu held the nationwide live tour Idol-tachi no Hameln Tour (アイドルたちのハーメルンツアー) in November 2014.
Toyoda Saeka withdrew in December 2014.
Their 2nd single Japanische Mädchen Ska ep. went on sale in March 2015.
The girls held their 1st one-man concert in April 2015.
Igarashi Naru joined the idol group as a new member in April 2015.
She resigned in June 2015.
Their 1st self-titled album Hauptharmonie was released in July 2015.
Seto Yurina announced her graduation in October 2015.
The idol group changed label in the fall of 2015. It was transferred from Kindergarten to Hako Records.
Hauptharmonie’s 3rd single Golbenbaum ep. went on sale in December 2015.
Aihara Emi graduated in February 2016.
Kuraki Nanami, Chigasaki Rico and Lion Sena were recruited as new members in February 2016.
The mini-albums bleich and Abenddaemmerrung are going to be released simultaneously in May 2016. The themes are “purity” and “chaos”.
