SKE48 announced that 6th generation auditions will be held in October.
Applications have to be sent between August 15 and September 15. Auditions are open to young women aged 11 to 22 years old.

AKB1/153 Renai Sousenkyo (Love Election)
The video game AKB1/153 Renai Sousenkyo (AKB1/153 恋愛総選挙) will be released on December 20.
AKB1/153 Renai Sousenkyo is a dating simulation featuring the 153 members of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48 and HKT48.
The special edition includes AKB48 making of video (4 DVD, 400mn), SKE48 making of video (3 DVD, 300mn), NMB48 making of video (2 DVD, 200mn), HKT48 making of video (1 DVD, 100mn). It also comes with a special photobook (more than 150 pages), 10 pictures and special download contents.
The game is available on PlayStation Portable and PlayStation Vita.

Time-shifted videos of live performances held at Tokyo Idol Festival 2012 are broadcasted on Nico Nico Douga via pay streaming.
Only concerts performed in Hot Stage are available.

SKE48 no Magical Radio 2 (SKE48のマジカル・ラジオ2) DVD box will be released on September 7.
It includes all 12 episodes of the drama and bonus videos.
No Name – Kibou ni Tsuite
No Name’s 1st single Kibou ni Tsuite (希望について) will be released on August 1.
The single includes the opening and the ending themes for AKB48’s anime series AKB0048.
The limited editions include a bonus DVD featuring music video, making-of, and other video footage.
a-nation Musicweek Idol Nation
a-nation Musicweek Idol Nation will take place on August 11 at Yoyogi National Gymnasium (Tokyo). Concerts will be held on afternoon and evening.
Idoling!!!, HKT48, SKE48, Sashihara Rino, Super☆Girls, Tokyo Girls’ Style, 9nine, Passpo☆, Up Up Girls and Cheeky Parade will perform in the event.

Tokyo Idol Festival 2012 will be held on the weekend of August 4-5 at Zepp DiverCity. A total of 108 idol groups will perform on the different stages of the festival.
