Fujita Nana (Team K) won the AKB48 Janken Tournament 2015 (じゃんけん大会2015). She defeated Nakanishi Chiyori (Team A) in final.
As the winner, Fujita Nana’s prize is to make her solo debut.

On July 4, AKB48 revealed their 41st single on Music Day show. The position of the members has been defined at the AKB48 Senbatsu General Election 2015.
The title of this single is Halloween Night (ハロウィーン・ナイト).
The center is Sashihara Rino.

During a press conference held on July 25, the 1st generation of NGT48 (Niigata48) has been revealed.
However, it was only announced that they are 22 (74 candidates had participated in the final round of audition). 12 girls are from Niigata. They are between 12 and 20 years old.
The 7th AKB48 Senbatsu General Election 2015 (第7回AKB48選抜総選挙2015) was held on June 6 at Fukuoka Dome.
The results of the AKB48 41st Single Senbatsu Sousenkyo (AKB48 41stシングル 選抜総選挙) were announced. Sashihara Rino ranked 1st with 194,049 votes. Kashiwagi Yuki and Watanabe Mayu came in 2nd and 3rd position with respectively 167,183 and 165,789 votes.

AKB48‘s 40th single Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai (僕たちは戦わない) will be released on May 20.

The song Suzukake no Ki no Michi de… was ranked 1st. Tomodachi by NMB48’s Yamada Nana and Yamamoto Sayaka, and Jane Doe by Takahashi Minami reached the 2nd and the 3rd rank.
The creation of NGT48, a new sister unit based jn Niigata, was announced on Day 5.
