AKB48 – Kimi wa Melody

AKB48 - Kimi wa Melody (君はメロディ)The new single of AKB48 Kimi wa Melody (君はメロディー) will be on sale on March 9.

This is the 43rd single of the idol group. It celebrates for the second time the 10th anniversary of the group (after the recent release of a compilation album in last November).

For this occasion, some former members such as the popular Maeda Atsuko, Itano Tomomi, Shinoda Mariko and Oshima Yuko make a brilliant appearance on the covers of singles and the clip. Although they have not participated in the recording of the single in its entirety, they perform the title track.

Oshima Yuko Graduation Concert

Oshima Yuko (AKB48)Oshima Yuko Sotsugyo Concert in Ajinomoto Stadium ~6 Gatu 8 Ka no Kousui Kakuritsu 56% (5 Gatsu 16 Nichi Genzai), Teruterubouzu wa Honto ni Kouka ga Aru no ka?~ (大島優子卒業コンサート in 味の素スタジアム～6月8日の降水確率56% (5月16日現在)、てるてる坊主は本当に効果があるのか?～) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 29.

Oshima Yuko’s graduation ceremony postponed

Takahashi Minami & Oshima Yuko (AKB48)Oshima Yuko‘s graduation ceremony was initially scheduled on March 30 during the 2nd day of AKB48 Group Haru Con (AKB48単独&グループ 春コン) at National Olympic Stadium. However, the event had to be cancelled due to stormy weather.

It was announced that a new graduation concert will be held on June 8 at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo.

Oshima Yuko in TV CM for Gaitame Online

Oshima Yuko × Gaitame OnlineOshima Yuko is starring in TV CM for Gaitame Online (外為オンライン).

The CM songs are Tsugi no Pierce (次のピアス) from Not Yet’s latest single Hiri Hiri no Hana (ヒリヒリの花), which is on sale since September 25, and Sekai no Kaze wo Bokura wa Ukete (世界の風を僕らは受けて).

The “Business”, “Holiday”, “Paris” and “New York” versions of the TV CM for Gaitame Online (外為オンライン) have been released.

Oshima Yuko and Kojima Haruna in the PV Blurred Lines of Robin Thicke

Oshima Yuko, Robin Thicke, Kojima HarunaAKB48 members Oshima Yuko and Kojima Haruna performed in a special version of the music video of the hit Blurred Lines from Robin Thicke.

This collaboration between AKB48 and the American singer Robin Thicke is a parody of the original video clip. The song Blurred Lines topped the charts for 12 weeks in USA.

This Japanese version was made by Universal Music Japan.

Not Yet – Hiri Hiri no Hana

Not Yet - Hiri Hiri no HanaNot Yet will release their new single Hiri Hiri no Hana (ヒリヒリの花) on September 25.

Not Yet is an idol group consisting of Oshima Yuko, Kitahara Rie, and Yokoyama Yui from AKB48, and Sashihara Rino from HKT48.

4 editions are available. Each one of them has a coupling song with a different member as the center.

It includes a DVD with the music video and bonus footage, with the exception of the Type D edition.

Oshima Yuko – Yo nimo Kimyo na Monogatari

Yo nimo Kimyo na MonogatariThe drama Yo nimo Kimyo na Monogatari ~2012 Aki no Tokubetsu Hen~ (奇妙な物語〜2012秋の特別編〜) starring Oshima Yuko (AKB48) will be released on DVD on August 7.

The DVD includes the 5 episodes of the drama aired last fall on Fuji TV.

Oshima Yuko plays in the 1st story titled Shinrei Appli (心霊アプリ).

Yo nimo Kimyo na Monogatari is a TV series broadcast since 1990. Each story is independent of the others.

Oshima Yuko – Yamikin Ujishima-kun

Yamikin Ujishima-kunYamikin Ujishima-kun (闇金ウシジマくん) movie starring Oshima Yuko (AKB48) will be released on DVD on February 8 and on Blu-ray on February 27.

Oshima Yuko plays the role of Suzuki Miko, a girl who has to work in a ‘dating cafe’ in order to to pay her mother’s debt. She is chased for it by Ujishima who makes illegal loans.

The film is based on the manga of the same title.

The DVD comes with a bonus disc and a booklet.
