AKB48 AKB48’s 34th single Suzukake no Ki no Michi de “Kimi no Hohoemi wo Yume ni Miru” to Itteshimattara Bokutachi no Kankei wa Dou Kawatteshimau no ka, Bokunari ni Nannichi ka Kangaeta Ue de no Yaya Kihazukashii Ketsuron no You na Mono (鈴懸の木の道で「君の微笑みを夢に見る」と言ってしまったら僕たちの関係はどう変わってしまうのか、僕なりに何日か考えた上でのやや気恥ずかしい結論のようなもの) will be released on December 11.

The 16 senbatsu members were selected at the AKB48 Janken Tournament 2013 (AKB48 34thシングル選抜じゃんけん大会) held on September 18 at Nippon Budokan. The center is SKE48’s Matsui Jurina.

The list of the members selected for the coupling track Mosh & Dive has also been revealed.

Kasai Tomomi to hold her 1st solo live

Former AKB48 member Kasai Tomomi will hold her 1st solo live on December 18 at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.

The concert is titled Seinaru Yoru no Okurimono 2013 in Akarenda (聖なる夜の贈りもの2013 in 赤レンガ).

Kasai Tomomi graduated from AKB48 in May 2013.

Ono Erena in Shirayuki Hime Satsujin Jigen

Ono Erena (ex AKB48) will be playing in the movie Shirayuki Hime Satsujin Jigen (白ゆき姫殺人事件). The title can be translated to The Snow White Murder Case.

The film is based on a novel of the same name by the best-seller writer Minato Kanae.

The story is about an office lady being murdered at a beauty company.

Ono Erena is going to play the character of Mitsushima Emi (満島栄美), an employee nicknamed Micchan (みっちゃん). It is the first time for 4 years, and the movie Sankaku (さんかく), that Erepyon performs the role of an office lady.

Shirayuki Hime Satsujin Jigen will be released in theaters on March 29, 2014 in Japan.

AKB48 2013 Manatsu no Dome Tour

AKB48 2013 Manatsu no Dome Tour ~Madamada, Yaranakya Ikenai Koto ga Aru~ (AKB48・2013真夏のドームツアー～まだまだ、やらなきゃいけないことがある～) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 18.

The Special Box contains 10 discs featuring 3 concerts and bonus footage including the graduation ceremonies of Shinoda Mariko, Akimoto Sayaka and Itano Tomomi. It comes with a 132-page booklet and 5 photos.

The Single Selection includes 2 discs with the live performances of the songs from AKB48’s singles. It contains a photo randomly selected.

AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48 participated in the live event.

Akimoto Sayaka – Arinomama (Photobook)

Akimoto Sayaka - Arinomama Akimoto Sayaka’s 1st photobook Arinomama (ありのまま) will be released on October 22.

The photo shooting was done in Philippines which is the homeland of her mother. It was the first trip of Akimoto Sayaka in this country for 15 years.

The book includes interviews and messages from her friends and members of AKB48 Miyazawa Sae, Oshima Yuko, Yokoyama Yui, Shimada Haruka, Abe Maria, and Ichikawa Miori.

AKB48 – Heart Ereki

AKB48 - Heart Electric AKB48’s 33rd single Heart Ereki (ハート・エレキ ; Heart Electric) will be released on October 30.

4 editions are available, one for each team of AKB48.

Kojima Haruna has been chosen to be the center on this single.

A special nickname has been given to each senbatsu member for the title song.

The CDs contain 3 songs. The coupling track is different for each version. They come with a DVD featuring the music videos and bonus footage. They also include a photo randomly selected from 50 kinds.

Kashiwagi Yuki – Birthday Wedding

Kashiwagi Yuki - Birthday Wedding Kashiwagi Yuki (AKB48) will release her 2nd solo single Birthday Wedding on October 16.

3 types of CD are available. They contain 3 songs and their instrumental versions. The coupling track is different for each one of them.

All editions include a DVD featuring bonus footage.

The limited editions come with a trading card and a lottery ticket for the concert of Kashiwagi Yuki, titled Yukirin Dharma (ゆきりんだるま), scheduled on November 7 at Yokohama Arena.

AKB48 Group Kenkyuusei Concert ~Oshimen Hayaimonogachi~ (AKB48グループ研究生コンサート～推しメン早い者勝ち～) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on November 9.

The concert was held on June 5, 2013 at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.

The Kenkyuusei members of AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48 participated in the live performance.

The DVD and the Blu-ray box include 4 discs, a 24-page booklet, and 3 photos randomly selected.

Ono Erena – Erena the Movie

Ono Erena - Erena the Movie Ono Erena (ex AKB48) released the DVD Erena The Movie on September 25.

This DVD celebrates the 1st anniversary of the solo debut of Ono Erena.

It includes footage of her trip Erepyon Taiwan e Iku (えれぴょん台湾へ行く), the live performance held for the release of her 1st album Erena, and a collection of music videos.

Oshima Yuko and Kojima Haruna in the PV Blurred Lines of Robin Thicke

Oshima Yuko, Robin Thicke, Kojima Haruna AKB48 members Oshima Yuko and Kojima Haruna performed in a special version of the music video of the hit Blurred Lines from Robin Thicke.

This collaboration between AKB48 and the American singer Robin Thicke is a parody of the original video clip. The song Blurred Lines topped the charts for 12 weeks in USA.

This Japanese version was made by Universal Music Japan.
