AKB48 are the best-selling singles artists. SKE48 also appear in the top 10. NMB48, Nogizaka46, Not Yet, Maeda Atsuko, Watanabe Mayu, Sashihara Rino, no3b (No Sleeves), Morning Musume, Momoiro Clover Z, French Kiss, Itano Tomomi, Super☆Girls, and SDN48 are in the top 100.
AKB48 came in 3rd position of best selling album chart, and SKE48 in 40th position.
The teams for the 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen (第2回 AKB48紅白対抗歌合戦) have been announced.
Takahashi Minami will be the captain of White Team, and Shinoda Mariko the captain of Red Team.
Members from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48, and SNH48 will participate in the event.
The singing battle will be held on December 17 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
The event will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 27.

NHK announced the artists line up for the 63rd Kouhaku Uta Gassen (第６３回ＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦).
AKB48, SKE48, and Momoiro Clover Z will participate in the show.
Kouhaku Uta Gassen is an annual music show on New Year’s Eve broadcasted on NHK. Popular music artists of the year are divided in 2 teams and perform their hit songs. The audience vote for their favorite artists.
Moreover, AKB48 will hold the 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen (第２回 ＡＫＢ４８紅白対抗歌合戦) on December 17 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
SKE48 announced the schedule of special events for the reopening of their theater at Sunshine Sakae.
Team S, KII, and E will hold all the stages performed since their debut. The events will take place from November 17 to December 2 at Grand Canyon Square.
SKE48 theater will open on December 9. It was closed since August 28 due to renovations.
SKE48 Team KII 3rd Stage Ramune no Nomikata (ラムネの飲み方) will be released on DVD on November 16.
This stage is performed by SKE48 since October 1, 2010. It consists of 17 songs and a medley.
AKB48’s 29th single Eien Pressure (永遠プレッシャー) will be released on December 5.
The title song is performed by the 16 members selected at the 2012 Janken Tournament. Shimazaki Haruka had won the center position.
Some B-side tracks are performed by SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, or OKL48 depending on the version.

Yagami Kumi announced her graduation from SKE48. The date hasn’t been decided yet.
Yagami Kumi is a member of SKE48 Team S. She had joined the group in 2008.
She is also a member of the subunit No Name.
She appeared in the drama Majisuka Gakuen, and dubbed the character Shinonome Sonata in the anime series AKB0048.
SKE48 Team S 3rd Stage Seifuku no Me (制服の芽) is released on DVD on October 31.
This stage is performed by SKE48 since October 25, 2009. It consists of 17 songs.
AKB48 Request Hour Setlist Best 100 2013 (AKB48リクエストアワー セットリストベスト100 2013) will be held during 4 days from January 24 to 27 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
Songs from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, and SDN48 will be perform during the concert.
Prior to this live event, Unit Matsuri (ユニット祭り) will take place on January 23, also at Tokyo Dome City Hall.
