AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta GassenThe 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen (第2回 AKB48紅白対抗歌合戦) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on March 27.

The DVD and the Blu-ray include bonus video footage, a 20-page booklet, and 3 photos.

The 2nd AKB48 Kouhaku Taikou Uta Gassen was held on December 17 at Tokyo Dome City Hall.

146 members from AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, HKT48, JKT48, and SNH48 participated in the singing battle. Takahashi Minami was the captain of White Team, and Shinoda Mariko the captain of Red Team.

HMV Nippon Juudan Idol Ranbu 2013

HMV Idol Gakuen presents Nippon Juudan Idol Ranbu 20139nine, Tokyo Girls’ Style, Cheeky Parade, S/mileage, Dempagumi.inc, Babyraids, and other idol groups will participate in Nippon Juudan Idol Ranbu 2013 (日本縦断アイドル乱舞).

9nine, Tokyo Girls’ Style, and Cheeky Parade will perform at all tour dates.

The live event is presented by HMV Idol Gakuen (HMVアイドル学園).

The concerts will be held in Sapporo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Sendai, and Tokyo.

Vanilla BeansVanilla Beans 5th Anniversary Taiban Kikaku “Kaze wa Fuku no ka!? Vol.2” (バニラビーンズ 5周年記念対バン企画 『風は吹くのか!? Vol.2（仮）』) will be held on March 8.

Vanilla Beans and the pop band 7!! (セブンウップス) will perform at the live event.

The concert will take place at Shinjuku Loft, Tokyo.

Minegishi Minami involved in a scandal

Minegishi MinamiMinegishi Minami (AKB48) has been demoted to Kenkyuusei due to a scandal. She has also shaved her hair and posted a video message.

The scandal began with the publication of an article in the tabloid Shukan Bunshun (週刊文春) revealing that Minegishi Minami spent a night at the house of Generation member Shirahama Alan.

In her video message, Minegishi Minami apologizes to AKB48 members, the fans, the staff, and her family. She tells that she doesn’t want to quit AKB48.

Passpo × H.I.S. – Happy Spring Campaign

Passpo × H.I.S. - Happy Spring CampaignPasspo☆ will appear in a new advertising campaign entitled Happy Spring Campaign (Happy 春トク キャンペーン) for H.I.S. travel agency.

The CM will start broadcasting on TV in Kansai area on February 6. Sakura Komachi will be used as the theme song for this advertising.

Passpo☆’s new single Sakura Komachi (サクラ小町) will be released on February 13.

Nogizaka46Nogizaka46 Debut 1st Anniversary Live (乃木坂46デビュー1周年記念ライブ) will be held on February 22.

As its name suggests, this live event will celebrate the debut of Nogizaka46 and the release of their 1st single Guruguru Curtain (ぐるぐるカーテン) one year ago.

The concert will take place at Makuhari Messe, Chiba.

Peaberry – Cabbage Hakusho ~Haru Hen~

PeaberryPeaberry will release a new version of their 1st single Cabbage Hakusho ~Haru Hen~ (キャベツ白書～春編～) on February 27.

The limited editions include a bonus DVD featuring music videos and making-of footage.

The first version of the single has been originally released on November 7, 2012.

Peaberry is a special unit consisting of Wada Ayaka (S/mileage) and Sayashi Riho (Morning Musume) from Hello! Project.
