AKB48 and Nogizaka46 won awards at the Japan Gold Disc Award 2013 (第27回 日本ゴールドディスク大賞) ceremony held on January 7.
AKB48 won awards for Artist of the Year, and Single of the Year for Manatsu no Sounds Good. They were also nominees for Best 5 Albums for 1830m.
Nogizaka46 won the award for New Artist of the Year.
Tokyo Cheer2 Party will make their major label debut next summer. They will be under Victor Entertainment label.
The announcement was made at Tokyo Cheer2 Party’s 1st concert (チアチア ファーストコンサート) held at Nakano Zero on January 6.
Band Ja Naimon! and hy4_4yh will hold Saikyou Hyper Band GIG (最強ハイパーバンドGIG) on January 28.
This collaboration concert featuring both idol groups will take place at Shibuya Lush, Tokyo.
Super☆Girls will hold Music Ribbon campaign from January 18 to February 16.
The aim of this campaign is to make people know Super☆Girls. The members will meet their fans across Japan, perform showcase, give a high five to the audience and free CDs of theiir latest song Celebration.

Moreover, Super☆Girls announced that they will hold a live at Nippon Budokan on June 11.
Super☆Girls’ 3rd album Celebration will be released on February 20.
The limited editions come with a bonus DVD featuring music videos.
The limited edition Type A also contains making-of footage and a video from EveryBody Jump!! 2012 Final ~X’mas Special~ held at Nakano Sun Plaza on December 25.
The regular edition includes Super☆Girls’ version of Asu e Step! (明日へStep!) as a bonus track.
The music video for album’s title song Celebration has also been revealed.
Uehara Asami will graduate from LinQ on February 17.
Uehara Asami’s graduation live (上原あさみ卒業ライブ) will be held at Tenjin Best Hall, Fukuoka, after LinQ Live Tour 2013.
Uehara Asami is the leader of LinQ. She joined the idol group in April 2011. She was previously a member of HR (Hakata Reboot) in 2010.
Up Up Girls’ 1st album titled First Album (Kari) (ファーストアルバム（仮）) will be released on January 30.
The album contains 15 songs, including Up Up Girls’ singles from Going my ↑ to Upper Rock, and 3 other tracks remixed by DJs.
CQC’s disbanded at the end of 2012. All members were graduated on December 30 during their last concert CQC’s Final Prologue Saishuushou ~CQC Award 2012 Last Live!~.
CQC’s debuted in October 2010. The idol group was from Fukuoka.
They released 3 singles : Namida no Request (涙のリクエスト), Yurufuwa Weekend / Wanna Be Your… (ゆるふわWeekend / Wanna Be Your…), and Fuwa Fuwa Precious / Mute Style (ふわふわプレシャス / ミュートスタイル).
Negicco, Especia, Sawa, and Uko will perform at Negi Road Vol.1.
The live event will be held on February 17 at Daikanyama Loop, Tokyo.
