19 years ago to the day, released the first single of Country Musume.

It is entitled Futari no Hokkaido (二人の北海道).

It was released on July 23, 1999 on the indie label Potato, the same day as the first single of the sister group Coconuts Musume.

The title song was written by singer Moritaka Chisato.

The B-side song Morning Gyuunyuu is a cover of the single Morning Coffee of the sister group Morning Musume, written and composed by Tsunku♂.

This single became a memorable single by Country Musume because it is the only disc performed by the original formation. It’s also the only one with Yanagihara Hiromi who was killed in a car accident, a week before its release.
