Tsugunaga Momoko announced her graduation from Hello! Project and Country Girls.
Momochi will graduate from the idol group and Hello! Project on June 30, 2017.
She told that she was going to retire from the entertainment industry, and that she wanted to find a job related to education. She got the teacher’s license for elementary school and kindergarten in 2012.
Tsugunaka Momoko is active as an idol for almost 15 years. She debuted her career in 2002 when she succeeded the Hello! Project Kids Audition. Momochi was a member of Berryz Kobo from 2004 to 2014. She was also part of Buono! with Natsuyaki Miyabi and Suzuki Airi. She became the playing manager of Country Musume after the indefinite suspension of Berryz Kobo. She was giving lessons and guiding the younger members for 2 years.
Tsugunaga Momoko made this announcement during a press conference held just before a concert of Country Girls Live Tour 2016 Winter which took place at Shinjuku ReNY on November 5.
