Iikubo Haruna (飯窪春菜) - Morning Musume 18 (モーニング娘。'18)

Iikubo Haruna announced that she will be graduating from Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project at the end of the year.

This announcement made on the Hello! Project, Iikubo Haruna mentioned that, during the idol group’s 20th anniversary celebration, she began to think more about her future. In order to achieve her goals and surpass herself, she decided to leave Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project but expressed interest in staying in the entertainment industry while performing solo arts-related activities.

Vanilla Beans will disband in October

A sad news for the fans.

Vanilla Beans announced their disbandment in a few months.

No formal reason was given, but after celebrating the idol group’s 11th anniversary this year, it seems that the girls want to move on and continue their activities in other domains. There were several discussions between the girls and their staff about the future of Vanilla Beans.

Beboga! will disband in September

All members of Niji no Conquistador, the girls have recently announced the next disbandment of the sub-unit Beboga! (yellow NijiCon team).

This announcement was made on July 29.

They talked with their staff many times and decided to end the group’s parallel activities. However, they apologized to fans for this announcement.

Candye♡Syrup – Graduation of all members and new auditions

Several announcements were made about the idol group Candye♡Syrup.

Current members have announced their future graduation from Candye♡Syrup.

No specific reason was given as to why members would graduate. However, another notice was published shortly announcing the beginning of the auditions of the second mount, for new girls. Women aged 16-28 are encouraged to apply, with auditions taking place from June 26 to July 8.

Ciao Bella Cinquetti announced their disbandment

Ciao Bella Cinquetti annouced their next disbandment.

This announcement was officially made on April 24.

According to their announcement, the members of Ciao Bella Cinquetti discussed after their performance on January 9th of their future with staff. After several talks, they’ve decided that they had accomplished everything they could as a group. They discussed putting the group on hiatus but decided to ultimately focus on solo activities instead.

Ciao Bella Cinquetti’s disbandment date is set for August 2nd.

Graduation of Ogata Haruna from Morning Musume ’18

Ogata Haruna announced on March 27 her future graduation from Morning Musume ’18 and Hello! Project

According to her, she decided to leave the group to devote herself entirely to her university studies. She commented that she feels unable to pursue her dreams of attending university in parallel with her idol activities, so she decided to graduate from the group.

FES☆TIVE : Graduation of Sakamoto Yuna, Suzuki Kotone and Suzuki Mitsuki in March

The idol group FES☆TIVE has announced the upcoming graduation of 3 members: Sakamoto Yuna, Suzuki Kotone and Suzuki Mitsuki.

This announcement was made in early February.

No reason why they decided to graduate was published, the blog announcing their degree simply saying that the group will continue with 5 members.

Graduation of Ikoma Rina from Nogizaka46

Ikoma Rina, a popular member of Nogizaka46, announced her graduation of the idol group.

This announcement was made on January 31st.

According to her, now that she is in her twenties, she wants to find a way to improve herself in order to find what she wants to do to live as an adult. She started thinking about the future and the skills she needs to find a career. In order to find her calling in life, she decided to leave the group and find her next challenge.

Disbandment of Idol Renaissance

Idol Renaissance (アイドルネッサンス) Idol Renaissance announced their upcoming disbandment.

This announcement was made on January 22nd.

There is little information as to why Idol Renaissance decided to go their separate ways, but there is a mention of the idol group not being able to “breakthrough”. This by itself is pretty sad since it essentially means that the group was not able to be profitable.

Graduation of Pour Lui from BiS (Brand-new Idol Society)

Leader Pour Lui announced her graduation from BiS (Brand-new Idol Society).

This announcement was made on January 6 on the BiS’ official website.

According to Pour Lui, she commented that BiS is no longer needed for her and that she was not needed for BiS. She thinks the group no longer needs her to continue its activities. She also mentioned how she thought about her graduation during her hiatus in September.
